For Muslims, meditation is the prayer. The five daily prayers, our regular recharge. But the stress doesnt let us focus sometimes. I woke up today feeling stressed and i remembered the dream i had which was really a subconcious manifestation of the stress im going through. This video was the first thing i saw today and it really reminded me to make maximum usage of these daily rechargers.

This really helped me! I'm only thirteen, and I suffer from anxiety constantly. The smallest thing can stressed me out, such as dropping a pen under my desk. Like I said, I'm thirteen, but I always worry about what I will do with my life. I'm incredibly young, and while my friends have found out that they want to become lawyers, doctors, firefighters, and many other career options, I'm here thinking about becoming a KZbinr. The career that I dream of pursuing is dangerous... dangerous in the sense that I feel like this is the only career that I think will make me happy, and a hard career to get into.. Just this video alone calmed me down, and I cannot wait to do all of the things you mentioned here. Thank you SO much, Michelle. This is a flawless video, and to anyone out there who suffers from anxiety, as I do, know that you are not alone, and I wish you eternal happiness.
@AnastasiaSilvi10 жыл бұрын
I went trough that a lot! And I also have that kind of 'weird' dream job. It's hard, especially when it comes to convincing your parents about your dreams. But run for it anyway if it makes you happy. Nothing beats the feel of joy evertime you go to work. Good luck!

I feel it in my heart and I instantly feel nothing No pain, no stress, no crying, I only feel him. The stress and problems are still there But so is he, I always feel so much more calmer and relaxed and happy when I pray to him, Wether it's good or bad God is good, God is my savior, God is my healer God is my God

I don't know why but when Michelle said "Don't stress out, everything's gonna be okay." At the end of her video, I just busted out crying because nobody has ever told me that before. Her voice, the music, everything is so soothing, I like to put in my headphones, close my eyes, and listen like it's a guided meditation. ☺ Michelle's videos have helped me so much. I've been watching them since I was in highschool, and now I'm in college. Michelle is one of the youtubers that defined my highschool years. I love to revisit videos I used to watch years ago. I like to remember the feeling 15-year-old me had like, "These people are so cool! Will I ever be like that!" And I'm glad Michelle is one of the people that influenced and inspired me when I was younger.

Watching KZbin videos and scrolling through Tumblr relaxes me! But sometimes I have to be careful because it can turn into procrastination... Like right now! My graduate thesis is due in a week and a half, and I have yet to write one word that is worth while. I also have a job interview this week! If I don't get a job soon after I finish school this month, I'll have to move back home. I am going to school in NYC now. It has been so hard for me to see one thing at a time. It has jumbled up into this huge monster of stress that wants to eat me alive. I sometimes don't even know if all of this stress is worth it. I'd like just to run into the woods and be a nomad. :/
@isen417010 жыл бұрын
I feel like doing that too. I like to read to escape reality, it takes longer than a movie and I can go and be places that are far far away, and sense I'm currently single those books usually involve romance, it's nice to see, or read about a guy or a girl loving who ever they live in the book so much and it makes me happy when others are happy, and gives me hope that all the shity stuff will some how all be worth it.

when you say that everything will be okay, I truly believe it. you are a very special, unique person who did so much good in this world. you really are one in a million
@Cara_V9 жыл бұрын
I have anxiety but I take medication for it so I can't guarantee that these tricks will help. One thing that can work is definitely eating right. I know it's such a buzzkill but it's true: eating your greens and drinking plenty of water can be a good mood stabilizer ( or at least a nice placebo effect. ) Another thing you can do is stretch. Stretching is a good thing to do if you are someone who wants to physically hurt in order to focus on small pains. Of course you have to make sure not to overstretch. The hardest thing but most relieving thing you can do in my experience is accept the fear. This is such a difficult thing because we automatically try to think of something else or something soothing and sometimes the best thing to do is just realize that what you're going through is something you can't really change at this moment and that's okay. It's an uncomfortable feeling and you don't like the way your heart starts to race and your body gets itchy and like your skin is stretched too tight over your bones and that's okay. You are allowed to have these feelings. They're negative feelings and you don't like them, but that doesn't mean you're not allowed to have them. Just breathe and accept what's going on. It's really not as easy as it may seem. It could take you days or weeks or months before you get a firm grasp on forgiving yourself for feeling stressed out. But you can.

The last months I had a lot of stress . Work and print life.. I didn't get take care of myself, moved on even harder when I felt tired. Now I got my payback: I got sick. My immune system is down. My lungs feel like filled with water and I'm coughing all the time. My doctor told me I probably won't go back to work this year. Everone told me "slow down!" but I didn't want to listen. Now I know what happens if you don't listen to your body.

A lot has happened in school and out of school and I kept working at myself to try and balance everything. It was all really stressful, the same thing happened to me. I hardly got any sleep and I felt tired all the time. I usually have a good immune system but in the end I got sick - I have a chestly cough and have horrid coughing fits. I thought it was just because it was cold and everyone else was sick too. Turns out...it was that and because of stress building up and not taking care of myself.

A way to help me unwind is just to see the people I love and listening to their music. (in this case, 5sos) They helped me so much, they help me unwind, their voices are so soothing and beautiful. When I see them do stupid or dorky things, I laugh, and it really pulls me away from reality. It's amazing. I nv thought they wld help me so much, and I am truly so happy to have stumbled across them. Luke's voice cracks, Calum's fall, Michael's change of lyrics and Ashton's craziness. I noe I am being a fangirl here, but trust me. Listen to music, and find and artist that makes you happy. Idc if it's miley cyrus or whuddever, cause if it makes you happy, than ur miley is my 5sos. Also, I have a hobby. It keeps me occupied all day, and I got thro all these days bc of my hobby and listening to my fav artist. I play the violin, and I spend hours composing, finding out how to play songs on it. I sing when I am stressed as well. I sing it out loud so that my brain can only think about the lyrics. and when i mean singing out loud, I mean to the extent of shouting out the song. Taking pics and editing them also occupies up my time. Videos as well. I love vlogging privately the amazing parts of my life, and when sad, I look at it, and tell myself that these days will cm again if I work hard, thus making me move on. The above things help me not end my life. Goin thro depression and bullyin is not the best thing at all. To all victims out there, stand up for ur rights and do what u luv. Block them out by doing things that pleases u. Or even hw. We all dread hw, but wut we dont know is that while doing difficult math sums, our brain blocks out evrything, and it makes us focus on what is more important. God bless all of you, bye

The only thing that's a shame for me is that I have quite severe eczema and am allergic or sensitive to a lot of things mentioned in this video (animals, scented things, hot water on my skin). But this video was still helpful to me as an inspiration to allow myself to relax more :) My eczema is very stress-related too, so I shouldn't forget about that. It's kind of a vicious cycle because the itching and pain from eczema itself is stressfull too, but a lot of it is really in my head. Thanks Michelle, you're always an inspiration :)

Tho I do not have Eczema, I read a lot about it and have friends who have it and done holistic research that diet can completely eliminate Eczema. I know for a fact dairy is one of the most popular causes for eczema. Or cutting out certain things such as glutton. I read many successful stories and have friends who are on strict diets and no longer need to be on medication. Also when your on your own personalized diet that directs your specific health needs, some of your allergy/sensitivity can correct itself . I encourage to do your own research and or go see a holistic doctor, hope this helps!!

If I'm stressed at home, I like to grab my trusty Warm Vanilla Sugar lotion and massage it in all over. Sometimes I do a load of laundry make the house smell good and put on pajamas fresh from the dryer. I tend to snuggle with my favorite stuffed hippo for a nap too. If I have the money, I'll go out and treat myself to an Asian body knead. Those are phenomenal for destress! They work out all the knots abd pressure points. You'll feel like human pudding! My favorite instrumentals to listen to are Quiet Slumber by Shadow6Nothing9 and one my dad made called Victoria. They're soothing and calm me no matter the mood. :)

Don't use essenzial oils alone! Always diluite them in some other oil, such as jojoba, or almond. Using them directly on the skin can cause irritations an other bad stuff! For the rest of it, I agree with the tips you mentioned and I'd add also pillows and soft materials in general: a big fluffy blanket can be awsome! Too bad pet terapy is definetly not for me: I am afraid of animals, all of them, and I really don't like them! I'd most likely need a stress reliever after having touched an animal!

A very effective thing i do when i am stressed out or having a lot of anxiety is to simply think in the now. where am i right now? what am i surrounded by right now? i can feel my clothes against my skin. i can feel my bottom touching my chair. i smell my candle. things like that can be very soothing just because they simply take your mind away from the future or whatever it is that is stressing you out and it puts you into the now so you are better able to thinkand realize everything is gunna be okay :)

Perfect video and great timing as well Michelle. Thank you. I've always struggled with destressing and in this chapter of my life right now, I'm still finding myself and what I want to do with my life here on Earth. I'm still a fulltime student and I've recently changed my major and it's scary and risky because all my life, I was shooting for one dream and that one dream is no longer achievable, at least not at this moment. I've been focused on one thing for so long that walking out of it and having to try something new, to be something new is nerve racking, frustrating, and stressful. Maybe I can acquire this dream again in the future, or maybe this is God's way of saying it was not really meant for me, or that there is another place that needs me more. I'm still praying that He helps me and leads me to the path He already created for me, but as of now, I am lost and confused on what that path is exactly. So it's been really stressful lately. My mom always tells me I need to find ways to not stress and your video tips have been what I needed. Thank you so much Michelle. :]

I'm just commenting to let you know that you're not alone. I'm seriously going through the exact same thing with my major. I went through something similar back in my college years. It is very stressful, yes. But don't worry, you will figure it out. Whatever you decide (or maybe life decides for you, that happens too), try to make the best of it. There is not just ONE career in life that can make you happy. There are tons of career paths and it's up to you to make the best of it :) You can do it, I know you can! Something that has helped me a lot over the years are the advices and comfort given on a site called jw (dot) org :) I hope it helps you too! Stay beautiful, lovely
