In reality it's because millennials are the most black supremacist generation in history and they're the ones taking all those jobs It's really not that complicated.. just imagine if members of the KKK suddenly gained jobs in influential positions around the country from all of these studios. What's the first thing they would do? They'd get rid of all the black characters replaced them with white characters they'd spend tons of money even if they lost money pushing white supremacy down everybody's throats. Trying to convince as many people as possible to hate black people as much as they do Is that not what they're all doing? Only in reverse? It's all the black supremacist millennials using these corporations to force a black supremacist anti-white agenda down everyone's throats to try to convince everybody in the world to hate white people as much as they do.. It's really not as confusing or complicated as everybody makes it seem. It's very simple and straightforward. They are racist.

@@EvilDoresh it's safer and easier just to remake established franchises, rather than take a risk on something new. The thing that makes it so strange with comic book films is that there are plenty of black heroes they could be using, but they don't (with the exception of Storm, Cyborg and Black Panther). Want a black Superman? Okay, make a movie about Steel. For god's sake, his name is John Henry Irons and his weapon is a sledgehammer, a clear reference to the steel-driving folk hero John Henry. The fact that they don't use existing heroes shows that they're either lazy or doing it out of spite for white folks (both of which are entirely possible).

@@ashmanchester2611 But outrage is what's selling this garbage these days, it's literally a marketing tactic. How the hell Velma gets more than 1 season or even through the first half of that one season without getting canceled but getting more seasons when good shows like Final Space, Venture Bros, Tuca & Birdy, Bojack Horseman and others get canceled or worse written off and not even allowed to be sold on any platform (Final Space) for tax reasons. I haven't seen any numbers on how effective outrage marketing must be, but it just has to be decently good at bringing in viewership since they keep on renewing these garbage shows. I mean look at the Witcher series. It goes against the source material so damn much the main star had to leave the show due to how toxic the showrunner was at changing the story to suit her needs. Now they're going to make famous womanizer Dandelion gay with Radovid, notorious evil dude who's basically this worlds hitler, all just to piss people off and get that outrage viewership. Like I didn't even watch season 2 cause I heard/read it was so damn bad, but season 3 is shaping up to be next level bad. Such a shame since I love the series but they let this moron of a woman destroy it for her own pride. I hear the issue with so many shows going to shit like this is because the showrunners wanted to do something else but weren't allowed, but somehow they're put in charge of big IPs like this. They then twist the story to be like the one they wanted to tell, both out of spite for the OG material and fanbase, and to satiate their desire to tell *their* story. Such a sad state of affairs we're in these days with new shows. Just wait until AI starts writing everything to save even more money for hollywood. OG stories will be dead and everything will be bland shit.

HBO's Last of Us made me realize that it's not race swaps that I hated so much, it's that it is usually followed by terrible writing or/and lazy character design. Disney and Netflix are one of the worst when it comes to that. Despite initially cringing at Sarah race swap I forgot about it very quickly and I stopped caring by the end of the first episode. That series made me realize that diversification is the least of the problems that I had with a lot of series and movies. Episode 3 was one of my favourite episodes in history of television and I would have absolutely trashed any lesser show who wasted an entire episode on a gay couple. If the episode was of lesser quality, I would have stopped watching, but I was positively shocked at how much I loved it. Now, you may disagree and not like series (there is no arguing about taste), but it is undeniable that the series has its golden moments. HOWEVER, when diversification is done for the sake of being woke, that's when major problems start. Usually, the people behind those changes deliver terrible products. Disney has had a problem with live action remakes for years, I honestly hated everything about Beauty and the Beast, it was an inferior version of everything we loved in the original. And if Belle was race-swapped, studio would have jumped to call all critics "racist". I also feel sorry for the actress of My Little Mermaid, I feel like she was casted for her race. EDIT: diversification sometimes makes sense when for instance, there is modern adaption of something that was created in USA in the 50s. If all of the cast would no longer reflects the current demographics, then it needs to adapt, otherwise it would be weird. All other cases are often ridiculous and worthy of ridicule. And how come the previously white characters are always replaced with black characters and never i.e. those of Eastern or South Asian descend? I am not an American and looking at some of the modern shows alone, I would have guessed that USA has a population of more than 30% of "African" Americans, but population census shows a different picture. I will also always despise redhead erasure and will never get over it. I absolute adore red hair and Hollywood is weirdly obsessed at removing redheads.

@DAWNRISINGSOPHIA that's because the blonde hair blue eye gene is going extinct, we are a rare breed but ginger or red heads whatever u want to call it aren't going extinct but will in another few decades if people aren't careful. Also I said "natural" red haired people those with natural red hair are gingers because they have the genetics of a ginger people if they only got red hair up top then they aren't natural they dye thier hair. I just looked it up. "Red heads refer to anyone with red hair ethier dyed or natural." "Gingers have natural red hair or orange hair with freckles" "both are caused by a gene mutation resulting in less melolin in the skin and hair". Scientifically if they have natural red hair meaning they don't dye it they are ginger and have that mutation if they have only red hair on thier head it's dyed and they are just a red head and aren't natural meaning they don't have the genetic condition I mentioned. Seriously have you never dated a redhead person before or something and never bothered to ask why thier hair in thier privates or underarm wasn't the same as thier head? They would tell you they dyed it unless they were ashamed and lied to you because if you have red hair up top and it's natural your body hair should be similar in color to it. Don't be fooled by the dyed hair my guy if the eyebrows aren't a similar color it's possible they aren't a natural red head same goes for blonde people.

Not really this time I'd say. It's just lame "Lol diversity points and quotas in media amirite?" shit that The Babylon Bee did the same thing. The, Babylon, Bee, did the same sketch here. That's how low tier this social comedy is.

How many points do they get if they turn a straight character LGBTQ?

Judging by how many stupid yaoi and Yuri fans are if they made a straight character into LGBT there's a chance the fans will spread the news of how happy they are to have a straight character turn into an LGBT character which means the spread news will bring much more weird and stupid yaoi and Yuri fans so basically 100+ every character they turn into an LGBT character

I like how everyone turns it into a race game when in reality we just want to see our favorite characters properly adapted that means look and act identical to their animated counter part

Characters are rewritten or replaced all the time, there's nothing insidious going on here.... People have the same complaint when I was growing up about all the blonde haired blue-eyed people suddenly showing up in movies and television (especially for characters that were not blonde hair or blue-eyed before) and yet this didn't cause the collapse of society.... No one is being replaced because you see more brown and black people on TV, they're just being added, you people need to relax....
@hizzygravy6042
@hizzygravy6042 Жыл бұрын
@@Darthalas What you’re missing here is that less than 2% of the world is ginger, and that is similar for the amount of characters in media that are redhead. Yes characters are replaced all the time, but isn’t it weird that a good portion of redhead characters are specifically being replaced with black characters or actors? And “adding” black and brown people to TV doesn’t equate to replacing already established characters.
