Hey Armando, massive fan of your videos. Just a heads up for others revising with these, there's a part of the presentation regarding polymixins that's a little misleading. It is not clear in the video but they are specific in disrupting gram negative cell membranes through their selectivity towards lipopolysaccharides (LPS) and as a result do not affect gram positive bacteria, which is implied by the diagrams. Also they're only really used in severe multi-resistant infections, such as some Pseudomonas strains, due to the toxic side effects. Reference if anyone's interested - Irving, W. Boswell, T. Ala'Aldeen, D. (2005) Medical Microbiology (1st Ed.). Abingdon: Taylor and Francis group. p. 238. Cheers though, can't tell you how much your style has helped me understand how everything fits together. When I become a doctor, I will donate to your cause. Would do it now, but unfortunately am a little in debt at the moment...yay uni :P
