It's only available on "Co-pilot+PC" laptops... for now. Those are the laptops with the great Snapdragon CPU and battery life. Intel and Ryzen CPU laptops doesn't have it yet. However, this is a good time to shop around for replacement operating systems. Linux Mint or MacOS seem viable.

@@akin242002 The samsung SSD that my workstation boots from is getting up there in age. So I might opt for a dual boot when I eventually do a fresh install on a new MUCH LARGER Drive. I recently got my first experience with Linux on an OLED steam deck to play on my exercise bike (ran out of good switch titles) and I have been really impressed by the desktop mode.

The surface line is equivalent to the mac line up on terms of 1st party optimized hardware and form factor, being capable of much more than the sum of its parts and being virtually devoid of bloat ware, any bloat ware it has is as subjective as the stock app or something on iOS. Surfaces pros are basically mac book airs, surface books are mac book pros etc. But on top of everything you get windows hello, touch screens a pen etc. And the surface pro can convert to a tablet or with a 3rd party keyboard works just likes a super thin laptop with a hinge and everything. The when you want to have a smart display and have 2 inches of space you can simply pull the display off, tilt the kick stand back an inch or 2 and place it anywhere.
