It's crazy how much you've let your personality grow since you started! Hey Scavengers! I started doing something with recyclables after learning a few things from Mike. I am an old lady so jumping into dumpsters is out but, everything we can possibly put into our recycle bins is done daily. I gift the metals I can't source because the build of an item is too complicated for my arthritic hands. These go into a collection for a not for profit group, they collect all year and turn the stuff into cash in the fall. But, after watching Mike, I can take apart things like fans and toasters that are ours of my 85 year old mothers. We are storing to take to the local scrap yard. This money goes to a wild life rescue group because that is where my heart is. I love animals and we do what we can to help them. Choose a place or group, choose what you will recycle and how much time you can give to it. If you are better off giving the metals away to a group or giving them cash instead and sending the recycle to your city service, go for it. It is rewarding too. If you have kids the whole thing can be a family thing or you can get your grandkids involved. Recycling is what will save this planet from eating itself up. Choose, refuse, reuse, recycle, repurpose, respect, restore and reap the rewards. Blessings to you and yours. Again, Thanks Mike!

Hey Mike, just a few things, ( not being mean) that soap would be much appreciated at a women and children shelter. Also, every time I see you toss aside a wooden wire spool, I cringe. I love to craft, and I would bet dollars to donuts if you would put them up for sale, they would be gone in a flash! Crafters love wooden spools, almost any size. 😋 Another productive day there! I've found that the frames for Office Cubicle panels are often made of extruded aluminum. Heavy duty stuff. I've also discovered that some of the solid surface panels are made with alumaply, a high density fiberboard with laminated aluminum sheet surfaces. You might want to double check some of those office dividers next time you find some. Thanks for all the vicarious thrills. Keep up the good work.
