The whole “no menu” definitely works. There’s a local coffee shop at our annual vacation spot that has no prices. Before you know it you’ve dropped $20 when you probably only planned on spending $12. Are you really going to be that person that asks how much it costs and has to remove things from your order? lol

Those types of coffee stands are very common in the Northwest: WA, OR, ID, MT, Northern CA, Northern UT as well as British Columbia, and Alberta. Some of them around Seattle, Portland, Spokane, and Vancouver are "Bikini Baristas" with scantily clad ladies making your drinks and snacks.

I actually like that she doesn't have a menu. As someone who has worked in restaurants, coffee shops, hardware and clothing retail, that is a very useful thing people never think about. Menus give the customer information, sure, but what would be better? having that guaranteed jumping-off point for customer interaction. I've had chalk "menus" scattered around before with items listed out in fun but functional fonts, but without prices. That's how you get to talk to your customers. Build those relationships from the first moment onward and use it for upsales.

Refurbished is good but sometimes you can get a new one on sale for used/refurbished prices if you are willing to wait, I keep what I want to buy in the future in my cart on amazon and wait for a sale
