ACtually, Aqua started with cutesy tsundere character on her debut, she even called us "Master" (goshuujin). Later on, she kinda accidentally revealed her character (that is not just all cutesy, but also loud when getting excited etc) on some game stream or was it a quiz/test stream I forgot (not the choco sensei one). And she stayed like that till now. I think it you're thinking she's more cute now probably because the effect of her new outfit, or because she's more into her idols stuff now than ever.

"Her personality feels more rounded over time" sounds like a translation the JP bros can help refining, it can possibly refer to her being a rounder, smoother onion. From my dictionary, 丸くなる can be interpreted also as "become amicable(more friendly)" and it can also mean for one's personality to "fill out(become more mature)". It seems Shion was making an idiomatic pun of some sort comparing it to an eraser(sharp edged at first becoming rounder over time).

Shion used to be a brat, someone who they couldn't fully bond with due to some wall that Shion had. "Now you listen to conversations properly". Although Shion is still a cheeky brat, now she's more remorseful? And knows when to be a good girl. Also more mature. Ayame hadn't changed much, they say she's always been the curious type that's observed her surroundings, a girl who's always been cautious? And careful. But it was ironic how Ayame didn't realize all those traits until they pointed it out for her. Choco-Sensie hadn't changed much too, it seems like she's been the same passionate Sensor since the start. She works hard on what she loves and it shows very obviously to the rest. Shuba basically went from normie to Otaku, aside from that, Shuba had been a curious girl who wanted to take part in the fun, which is how she knows more about Otaku culture since the 2nd gen has always talked about it and she couldn't participate.
