Minecart Mail Distribution Center for Minecraft (Java 1.19)

What if you could just put the destination for the minecart, in the minecart? In Vanilla Java?
Well you can, this is a demonstration of using minecart routing via named paper. It is the first video of what I hope to be my Cooper project videos that explore getting the most out of minecarts, as minecarts.

There is a better version of this coming - worked out how to make it 1 wide tilable. Which is kinda important since I want to use it as sort of a better cart-based-single-item-sorter for minecart logistics.

Mob delivery by mail? Only slightly suffocated.

On second thought, could a player ride in the chest boat in the minecart? Might make for a passenger minecart system where the destination (and baggage) is in the chest). I'd have to change the switching station, but it would be worth it if it worked.

It turns out the player can be in a chest-boat in a minecart. But making that minecart go anywhere (while the player is in the boat) is a challenge and just setting up the boat into the minecart is less than ideal. So this idea (pardon the pun) is dead in the water.
