According to Emilia Clarke the prop used for the stallion's heart was made of gummy bear-like material, which actually tasted awful, so the difficulty with which she seems to be choking it down is actually a genuine physical reaction. It had to be something she could really bite, chew, and swallow, because it would have seemed fake if she was only miming the act of eating a prop without actually consuming pieces of it. The gummy-heart was injected with fake-blood which was basically a sugary syrup, so that it could burst out as she bit into the heart, the way real coagulated blood would if she were eating a real stallion's heart. By the end end was covered in the stuff, which was like glue. D.B. Weiss described the prop as "basically a giant, three-pound gummy bear, covered in fake sugar-blood...which had the added attraction of drawing real flies." Weiss also confirmed that the point when Daenerys almost retches up the heart was a real physical reaction. Clarke is a relatively small woman and the horse heart prop was literally half the size of her head. The production team also pointed out that Daenerys might only have eaten the heart once within the story, but Clarke had to film multiple and prolonged takes eating the heart, because the entire scene focuses on it, and it has to go on in the background even while Viserys is talking to Jorah. The prop was intentionally made to taste bad to further Clarke's performance. If it tasted pleasant like regular candy, it would have lost some of the effect that Daenerys is choking down awful-tasting, bloodsoaked raw meat. Clarke herself noted in the featurette that the prop was incredibly realistic, and even contained dried pasta (dyed red) to simulate veins running through the heart.

In terms of the armor stand discussion: I think part of the charm of your builds is the fact that you manage to pull off all of your tricks in vanilla and find unique and new ways of doing these things. That is certainly a little lost the more one leans on armor stand decoration imo. That being said I think that in small amounts it could definitely amplify your builds (but I definitely like seeing your incredible vanilla methods of doing things more, personally).

I think overall the same. But! Minecraft *is* extremely limited in small decor and making things feel lived in. So, if you can make your builds look amazing on their own in vanilla, then use the mod to add a teeny bit of spice when you get close to make it feel real rather than a set piece... I'm all for it! Do what you can in vanilla, then use mods to compliment a build instead of relying on it.

that "old" style building is beautiful, I think the different architecture style actually works well with the rest of the city because it reminds me of those old houses that don't get torn down when a neighborhood is modernized. Armour stand box pile looks nice. In my survival world I like to create such piles using note blocks, campfires, beehives, barrels, chests, pots, single smithing tables even. There are a lot of blocks to choose from. When you get used to using this mix in good proportions, box piles look great, and they are strictly vanilla.

Idea to get back at SmallishBeans: send him a gift horse in a small stable. It’s standing on a tripwire feeding into a redstone torch (making the torch off while it stands there). When he kills the horse, redstone torch turns on, activating the metric butt ton of TNT underneath. Never look a gift horse in the mouth. Kaboom. And, as a bonus, if he instead rides the horse, its speed will allow him to get clear of the explosion.

Bdubs the 7-11 is amazing. Especially because you made it pop. Especially because you made the buildings next to it dim with lights from inside. Even the building is so. The build is so reminiscent of my childhood and my life when my family and i used to go out late more often. Especially because the place is similar to where my home is. Seeing the 7-11 light everything up and the houses and stores next to it are lit up inside making me wonder how they are doing there. This atmosphere makes me feel heavy emotions and i love it and thank you for this wonderful build

I will take a moment to mention that the cyberpunk town is coming together exceptionally well! I adore the Brutalist building you built last episode, it has such familiar vibes to it considering I'm from a former Soviet nation that's full of buildings like these. Speaking of which, when you get to building high-rises in the town, I think a perfect kind of building would be some sort of a rundown hotel. A perfect example of this is Hotel ''Iveria'' in the city I live in, Tbilisi. It was once a luxury hotel, but during the 90s it got turned into a dilapidated refugee hotel. It's the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word CYBERPUNK and I think something like this would fit perfectly in the cityscape.

i use to have lot of power outages, i recommend to get a UPS (uninterrupted power supply) that you can plug your electronics in at the desk, so when your power does die, it will give you a hour or two to be able to save everything youre working on and shutdown your devices correctly, which also helps prevent corruption of data.

bdubs for the shulker parkour you can stand on it for as long as the menu is open since the shulker stays extended until the menu is closed at which the shulker retracts. Effectively you can take it slow and let the shulker fully extend which gives you more time to jump after closing the menu, dont rush and its easy :)

I'm pretty sure it was you who did the muted lighting trick, you used it on the top part of your base last season and Scar liked it and used it in his park. Yes embrace the rain! That street is looking so complete now, next it would need the "abandoned" gritty 3rd layer detail like steam blinking street lights etc. It'll be perfect. It's gonna be work for you but make a giant horse head on the mountain beside Joel's base. (like the one you did for Mi Amore''s memorial)

I checked who came up with that window technique. It was both Bdubs and Scar, let me explain. Scar said something on twitter which gave Bdubs the inspiration to build those windows om his s9 base. Scar got inspired by that and used it for his castle. So you could say that either of them invented it

You should use armor stands to hide the horse heads all over Joels base. Some hidden in windows or chests and other spots, they're relatively harmless and they'll be haunting his base for weeks before he finds them all.

Imagine that with a noteblock with a horse head and a skulk sensor nearby. So every time he walks by a horse head he hears the horse noise.

35:06 Erm, Technically, it's Orthogonal🤓☝ I've learned this in school, orthogonal axonometry to be exact. Ithas 3 axis, which are x,y and z, but none of them show the right proportions and it's all about the perspective, and it's also used for legos. I think your axis is z vertical(z is always the same), then x to left distancing 110 degrees from the z axis and then the y distancing 120 degrees from the x axis, the y axis is in the left, but I can be wrong.

They really should have cast KZbinrs in the Minecraft movie. It would have made it so much more clear that the movie isn’t supposed to be taken seriously. And the YTers are such a huge part of the Minecraft community.

Seeing sunrise in real life aways gives me this weird feeling. It reminds me of the time i got home late from partying. Its a real weird shiver. The bizarre thing is. I got that feeling at 30:35. I think this proves how insanely realistic this city has become. Bdubs is master artist. I hope we all appreciate that!

2 great comment ideas put together...gather a herd of horses to roam his city, place brown dye on item frames all around in his streets. Really make it messy. poop and hay laying around everywhere. Then when he goes to kill all the horses only ONE chosen horse will activate a shrieker connected to TNT below his street. That would be what I would do and I would have fun doing it. Or you can just sue him for animal cruelty and make him build a horse rescue building in his city when he loses his case.

I enjoyed the armor stand work! Personally I see hermitcraft as only semi vanilla and building with bdoubleo as strict vanilla so I don’t mind it.
