Great explanation and demonstration. I just starting building on the foundation to the Crow Pose and trying to get my knees/shin on the back of my arms was uncomfortable to say the least. Nice to see that you can have the knees outside the arms to start with and then squeeze up into the pose. A way to go yet but some great cues of where I should be.

I will "lean in to my exterior, with such clarity and such grace" (7:00), I promise! :-) Seriously, you have such a clear and colorful language. It convinced me to go "from the forceful will" to "coil back from the pit of the belly, touching deep inside the center, tapping to the grace lies within" (0:40).

This is the most practical bakasana guide i come across on KZbin. Now I learn the right point I need to consider to improve where I am. Thank you so much for taking time breaking this down. I did it better but still fall on my face lol.

Much of the problem with arm balances is the angle of the wrists. Even in the last variation drawing the knees to chest and lifting the feet off the floor the wrists are at an extreme acute angle. My wrists just don’t do that after years of practice.

Not so good for me. I can't get my knees much higher up my arms than my elbows. Your body position at 4:02 looks far, far beyond my capabilities. Can you suggest a modification that would make crow pose possible for me?
