Hi Connie! I just found your channel today. Thank you so much for your content. I find it very interesting, useful and well presented. Other than many people who comment though I think you talk way too slow, it seems " forced" to me. Thankfully it was easy to increase the speed, so I'm looking forward to watching many more of your videos. All my very best wishes from Germany. Verena

I'm glad you enjoy the videos and have found a way that works well for you to watch. Unfortunately, I am unable to speed up my speech or make it seem less "forced", do to a brain injury I sustained.

Hi Connie! Thank you for your reply, now I do understand. But I want to point out that I did not mean to criticize or offend you in any way. Especially for people like me, whos mothertongue is not English, your clear, calm and structured way of presenting your content makes it easy to understand. Thank you for all the hard work you put into it!

Connie, I just found your videos I am so glad I did,making the day a little more peaceful is the answer. To day ( September 3 ) I just turned 82, which is hard to believe because I not feel that age. My husband Jack says " It's only a number ". So seeing and hearing you is a pleasure. Thank you. From Zarina.

Comparing ourselves to others is one of the things that destroy us, and social media is definitely one of the reasons why we compare ourselves to others! We could see a lot of successful people and compare as to what we have to them, and puts so much negativity within us! I am working on this now, glad you shared it with us Connie!❤️

I am so enjoying your videos as I am trying to declutter my house to get it ready to put on the market and my husband and I are going to be trying to find a retirement home. And over the last year with Covid 19 realize what really is important and how unimportant objects and material things are! I find your voice and Videos very calming, soothing and inspirational! Thank you so much!

Hello from Colombia (South America). Thanks a lot for what you do. I love your channel... helps me to minimalize an to calm 😉 I have a request, please put the music in a low volume, because sometimes (like in this video) the music is not adding but disturbing. Thanks

Why for me is pretty much mental health. Also I really like the idea of being well off (but it not being obvious lol) bcuz users won’t be after me or my stuff...Bcuz my lifestyle isn’t showy or extravagant and a lot of them would never know. 😅😅

I would like to say,I love your videos. However, I have so many items, that belonged to my grandparents, and great grandparents. I don't want to let go of them. But, my children and grandchildren, feel no connection to them. What say you, about these beloved treasures?
@ConnieRiet3 жыл бұрын
Great question! Listen to your heart for guidance. Each of our journey are unique to us. If those treasures from your past bring you joy, peace or are useful to you, keep them. Hold each item and connect to it, noticing the feeling you get. If it breaks your heart to let it go, keep it for now. Sending you happiness & joy
