That's awesome, I wish I could live like this. Im in college right now, so I can get a career and make enough money to exist. Nobody should be forced to a schedule. Things should happen naturally. i.e.: sleep when your tired, eat when you're hungry, learn when your curious. Instead people have to make themselves go to bed at a certain time so they can wake up at another certain time for work or school. It sucks that in general humans are forced' into certain ways of living because of factors that control them (needing money for a roof over your head).

As long as you can build up enough money to buy gear for traveling, develop some good connections and a sort of plan... the only thing left to do is decide where you want to go. :) Study what you love since you are already there, but MOST IMPORTANTLY don't feel tied down to do ANYTHING. It's YOUR life my friend.

I find sleeping bag claims of a certain temp are not always truthful but the smaller ones are better for pack . I like layering thrifted wool or fleece as well for keeping warm. Thanks Ross for sharing your pack with us. Inspiring. I still need help getting off regular anti-perspirant. Im trying different things but havent been successful yet. Im mostly vegan. Any advise?

Did the guy apply Carl apply for a holiday work visa while in Australia? Or did he just show up and got a job without declaring it? I'm going over there but to apply for a HWV you need 5000AUD in funds to get one so..how?

To enter Australia you will need to apply for a working holiday visa before entry, once applied and granted you have a year to enter to start it. They also ask for you to show proof of funds but that's 50/50 as from what I've been told they don't always check. The crime is getting caught but due to Australia being expensive I'd advise to try and meet the requirement.

LMAOO actually I think everyone doesn't have much money. I have been traveling around and i'm always broke :P It's just about how you want to travel...if you go around Asia it's pretty cheap to be living there and you can always volunteer at places for accomodation. There are so many ways to travel on low budgets :)
