Breaks my heart seeing this. I stayed there in September 2022. Watched it being built and visited upon my previous visits to Las Vegas. I saw an drawing that the original build will still remain but new features

Losing the Mirage is one thing. But them demolishing it without an implosion makes even the demolition a wasted chance for an amazing implosion of such a Vegas hotel we don't want to see go to begin with.
