Mitsubishi Outlander Taillight Removal - Gen 3's including 2013 - 2021

The removal of the tail light assembly on a third generation Mitsubishi Outlander is fairly straightforward. Simply remove the two screws which hold the tail light in place, and then put the taillight straight back.
The main thing to know is that, even if getting a proper grip is difficult, do NOT pull away from the Outlander as you could damage the tail light assembly or clip.
The Gen 3 Outlanders encompass model years 2013 through 2021.
