Hi Shane, been emailing you guys regarding my account for the myfight gym website but seems that nobody's replying at all. It's quite strange that nobody's manning your mailbox for such membership issues. Hope to get a reply soon from you or your team. Thank you.

Shane or anyone who knows about this. Are the fighttips gloves official to use in mma (like amateur fights and competitions and stuff) or are they mostly for training?

@ForHonorUSMC6 жыл бұрын
That's a great example of sparring. I feel like way too many people think the purpose of sparring is to beat the shit outta each other. In my opinion a huge amount can be learned through light, spontaneous and almost playful sparring, ramping up the speed and intensity once both have achieved a good measure of reactivity.

It’s awesome to see you’ve expanded and improved your grappling skills Shane. I’m curious at the lack of grappling videos? I know you have a few up, and it’s a pretty competitive market given the number of specifically grappling focused channels, but you could probably cover some beginner skills and get good views, especially given your high standard of production. But then what do I know about marketing, hahaha. Keep up the awesome work dude, you’re my favourite channel to watch, and always inspire me to go train 😁👍🏼

eXviper !!!! I am from india as well and I want to do mma. I suggest train at home or master different martial arts and then mix them up
@deimonfoxy77866 жыл бұрын
eXviper !!!! Here's my humble advice : keep on boxing to train your strinking and work your wresling and ground game at home with friends or family . Do this for like a full year , even two ,and then reverse the process : go into a wresling or juijitsu club and train your strinking at home for 1 or 2 years . And then go to those facility even if they are not perfect they will still help you to perfect your skills .

Deimon foxy u r absolutely right! I lrnt all my locks and chokes through utube and practised it on pillows and sparred with my bro and it works trust me.

eXviper !!!! As a young kickboxer/mma fighter facing a similar dilemma, I have some good advice for u. If u want to get better at mma purely for hobby, than continue to train at home. Dvd's and other things should help. But if U have an unstoppable will to be the best, I'm afraid you'll have to leave India. Work for like a year, save money, then move to a super gym and live in the dorms. Does that help? If u have any further questions, email me

Is it possible to learn kickboxing at home with a partner? I’m not completely new at it, I’ve trained for almost two years. But my financial situation has changed and can’t pay for classes anymore. I still have all my gear. I’m just afraid of developing bad habits without the guidance of an instructor.

@MackTrainingAcademy Жыл бұрын
Why not just be doing striking and at any time someone can take you down then reset? Do that for 3 minutes then be on the ground and work striking from the ground?

Hey, Shane how much body fat must a fighter have? Should he go low to make weight or just lose water weight
@flux37146 жыл бұрын
bahubali the leon He made a video on body fat for fighters, but to make weight you cut water, but some fighters like dc have to diet prior to a weight cut because he has to lose a tremendous amount of weight to make 205. I'm personally not a fan of that much of a deviation from your normal walk around weight
@bahubalitheleon65556 жыл бұрын
I checked all the videos of fight tips but I could not find one. Could you please send me the link of the video you are referring to or just try to give me a tip for my dought

Shane, I've always wanted to compete in MMA, and with little experience i signed up to a 9 week training camp leading to a charity fight. Its amatuer rules, and ive been trying to keep my arsenal well balanced. I chose 5 punches, 5 take downs and 5 kicks that i find the most useful and suited to my style, and I've practicing the 3 i like most, with the 2 on the side in case the situation arises. Is this a good idea due to the limited training time? Also, ive been struggling to utilise my reach, and find it easiest to land my punches half extended at times. My instructors tell me its a bad habit but often works in sparring as i feel very comfortable doing it. Should i focus on improving the form or just keep doing what feels most comfortable? Thanks for any help ✌🏻

are those shin guards just for sparring or can they be used for bag work as well?
@iggyschekelburger50236 жыл бұрын
nah man you wanna condition your shins and improve technique with bag work, so you gotta do that without shin guards if you're worried about hurting yourself just don't kick the bag too hard and focus on landing clean, tecnhically sound kicks, and gradually increase the power of your strikes as you improve, your legs will get tougher with time anyway shin guards will get in the way of that, because it doesn't hurt as bad and it curtails the blunt force your leg experiences, so you may develop bad habits on top of not having tough enough bones

Hey Shane I did sparring in my Muay Thai class before, when I tried to get close to my partner to do a leg kick he did push kicks every time to kick me back. How do I avoid that? I’ve been learning Muay Thai for about 3 and a half months now, and our Kru just started having us do light contact sparring on some days.
@tigerbend19646 жыл бұрын
Mathew Gonzalez maybe forward lateral step, catch the kick, use it at the end of a combo so he doesn't see it coming, use it as a counter attack,...

Should Conor be practising this stuff for his match with Khabib, or is his body too weak to wrestle someone with a middleweights strength like the shorter stocky Khabib?
@noahlee34766 жыл бұрын
Mark Ant Conor’s body isn’t too weak to handle it. It’s just he hasn’t trained intensive wrestling for years like Khabib. Being stuck on the ground and doing well with elite grapplers takes time. Either way, Conor KO’s Khabib. He has no angles on his wrestling entries.
