I've always thought that Coleman's kids meeting Fedor in the ring was one of the most humanizing moments of the sport's history. Coleman wanted to make sure that his girls knew that Fedor wasn't some kind of bad guy that they should be afraid of. He was a dad just like their dad.
@BlackStarGabusGaben4 жыл бұрын
But at the same time, they just saw their dad take an ass whooping, in front row, and almost STRAIGHT AWAY they were rushed in to not only see even closer the damage done but the man who did it as well. It was like their dad got mauled by a bear and the father said "ah don't worry, this bear isn't so frighting. I understand your point but your reasoning is from an adult's point of view. From a child's point of view, only the most roughest or iron willed would not be phased in any form. Had this occurred backstage, after things had calmed down, i'd 100% agree with you.

Speaking of coaches, I haven't watched MMA in a couple years so I don't know if it still happens, but every single fight involving Gegard Mousasi climaxed in one of his Red Devils coaches enthusiastically kissing and hugging him, and ended 100% of times with a frustrated Mousasi (who apparently doesn't like to get hugged after fights) repeatedly pushing him away. He was even there for Gegard's K1 victories, good times. That was always a mixture of uncomfortable and funny, I hope that coach is still around at Bellator...
@panspermiapancakes4 жыл бұрын
Rumbles corner was instructing him to do things properly, and kept telling him to stop trying to grapple and wrestle with DC, and they kept screaming for him to do the exact opposite of what he was trying to do. Rumble was refusing to listen and acting as if he didn't hear a word of it. They had trained him for months, put in a ton of effort, set up a game plan to neutralize and finish DC, and yet Rumble stopped listening, didn't do anything he was told, and you can hear Hooft through the audio footage saying "you need to keep your distance, stop wrestling him, if you stand your distance, its an easy game, why make it difficult?" then round 2 starts and Rumble reverses against the cage and tries going for a takedown, as Hooft is screaming for him to keep distance. Hooft then says "i'm not saying anything, it's going the same as last time, why? why the fuck does this happen every time?" right as Rumble is getting choked out. Then his corner leave him. It was awkward, and i felt bad for Rumble, but at the same time, he has a tendency to not listen and it's got to be excruciatingly aggravating for any coach who sets up a camp designed to go a certain way and then have your fighter throw the gameplan out the window and refuse to listen.

Silva’s leg break was one of sports greatest moments. It couldn’t have happened to a worse person 😂

Exactly! Seeing that showboating clown fall to his own hubris was hilarious. Silva constantly disrespected his opponents and was left looking like a fragile bum. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!😂

Would say Gabi Garcia vs Yumiko Hotta. Never should have happened and just made everyone incredibly uncomfortable.
