A soulful review of a soulful bike. Great to watch. Just as a note on quality, I did the Triumph factory tour recently and one of the amazing facts was that they machine their crankshafts to a tolerance of one micron. That’s one thousandth of a millimetre! Incredible.

T120 Bonnies are beautiful bikes, I loved mine and was heartbroken when I traded it. I rode the Speedmaster last year and it was as you say gorgeous, my only gripe is that at 6 foot+ I felt it wasn't big enough, I don't like forward controls and hate the Mickey mouse mirrors, I always put bar ends on my T100 and T120. Triumph quality and modern tech is indeed superior and every bit as good as my HD Low Rider S and better than most. I'll always love these English beauties.

You sir were the deciding factor in me purchasing a new 2023 Bonneville Speedmaster today got it in the black and white.. I traded my 2011 Rocket 3 roadster as I wanted to downsize as my age 61..and arthritis dictated.. I bought the rocket a few years ago with the idea of riding it a few years the either flipping it or trading it in.but I've always loved British bikes for being smaller and good handling...the test drive on the speedometer which I must say the 1200 motor has all the power I need for my type of riding and the seating position is pretty comfortable...I don't do a lot of two up riding so that's not really a factor...and what I love about this bike is it has just the few options I wanted...I did order it with the windshield and nothing else and just plan to strap a round bag on the back for the few items i like to carry ...love your videos and reviews

Great video and cheers from the USA! Love your energy and passion. Great bike. In the US, I think maybe the egos of some prospective buyers get in the way of purchasing this bike. As a veteran rider and Triumph fan, I wish more riders had an honest conversation with themselves and asked “Why do I really ride?” To impress others with massive CCs or overall size? Is it for the adrenaline? No, I don’t want to ride as a hooligan either! It’s about freedom and the grin factor for me. So buy the bike - you have nothing to prove!

I recently passed my test and was planning on buying a smaller bike such as the Royal Enfield classic 350 to gain experience and eventually work my way up to something bigger. But then the Triumph garage right across the street got a Speedmaster in stock... after walking in just to take a look, I walked out as the new owner. It was just too beautiful not to buy, and I don't regret it one bit! It's a big engine, but not ridiculous power for a new rider. And as you mentioned, it gets constant compliments and onlookers every time I take it out.

Well, after 27 years of abstinence I decided to ride again. So my decision was to buy a speedmaster. I took a testride and I felt in shock love with this bike. I`m close to 6'4'' and have no problems with the handlebar or that I´m too big for it. It´s a fine art of british engeneering and style building. I bought in march this year a "Jet Black" one and can´t get enough of it. Next month I´m retired and I know what to do. Collecting miles.🙃Keep on going with your great videos. Absolutely my favorite bike right now! I sat one the other day at the dealership and it fits me better than any other bike...I'm 5'8" with 30" inseam. I was on this exact bike color scheme. Was surprised this dealer leaves their bikes out in the element's day after day with no sun/rain protection. I agree with Darcy the clock on this one is cheap as hell. The one at the dealer was actually damaged...dented at the top where it says Bonneville and scratched plastic dial. When you spend $14k or almost $16k after tax, title, and licensing (new) ...we expect more attention to detail bro. I did find one used online for much cheaper...$8K with 750 miles on the clock, 2022 version, which keep in mind these are unchanged in design for last 5 years.

Nice shout out to @RedAngRevival! He's a nice bloke (we met/rode at the last London DGR) and it's a good channel. If I may blow my own trumpet, you can see a few vids of my Speedmaster on my channel - more to come too. Re. the Speedmaster, you're right about the suspension. Also the tank-fuel-range is quite low (maybe 120 miles). I recently tried the Royal Enfield Super Meteor wondering if it would solve those issues and tempt me away from the Speedmaster, but no. It's a good bike, but it's not as good a riding position or as characterful or as satisfying or as good looking as the Speedmaster. I will be sticking with it. There really is nothing like it. I love it more every time I ride it. I had no bad thoughts about the Super Meteor when riding it, but when I got off and back on my Speedmaster, there was really no temptation to get the Super Meteor.

Hello! I would like to comment a bit about the suspensions. The rear spring is adjustable and has 7 positions in total. I have mine fully tightened and even when i load the motorcycle close to the limit stated in the manual, the rear suspension does not reach it's limit on bumpy roads. Mine came softened all the way at position 1 from the factory. Another thing that nobody reviewing this motorcycle talks about, is how easy it is to remove the seat and quickly adjust the suspension with the hook tool located under the seat. I am sure many people would look at Speedmaster with a different eye if they knew all this. Also, the handle bar laid-back position in combination with the low center of gravity make it very easy to turn, no matter how tight the road is. If you make it higher, you mess the center of gravity and then we would lose what makes this bike so special. You are right about the front suspension, though. It's travel is very short and it is quite soft. If could change some things on this motorcycle, i would make the front suspension tighter, make it air-cooled and with removable exhaust silencers.

I know someone who will agree with you. It's the Scrambler 900 for me though, lighter for me and I love them.

I did a review on one of these. It was a few years old but such a comfortable bike. I did consider buying one for the collection but I’ve ran out of space.

The Speedmaster really looks comfortable. But I had decide myself for the T120 goldline last year and love it also. My wife is glad to have a good backseat and enjoy the ride same me.

Great video and very well said. I completely agree it is a stunning motorcycle especially in the chrome edition. However, I fell in love with the Scrambler XE and so thats the one I bought. 🙂
