The rev matching downshifts are intoxicating. Gotta put in ur earphones to see what I mean. Ever since I learned to rev match that's all I do. And keep in mind I only have a mk6 jetta. It makes the downshifts way smoother compared to normal downshifting that lunges the car forward.

Definitely agree on the seats. I feel like that makes a huge difference in feel and control of the car (and on track days you will feel it the next day because you aren't supporting yourself with your arms). However, I'm surprised about the amount of people changing their wheels on street cars. No one minds driving without an airbag on the street?

If you had the clutch pedal all the way down during that Grind Matt he probably needs a new clutch master cylinder preferably a Tick. Also if your shifter is really notchy you should try the anti venom mod if you already haven't.
@gotpug20768 жыл бұрын
+jumpinstocktoyotas GM cars have horrible clutch hydraulics, If you still have the stock mc installed, if the pedal sticks or it becomes harder to get in gear while racing around its because the clutch mc fluid is getting hot and or is dying. The reason I say this is because it happened to me and its a fairly common problem. You might know that already though, If you haven't joined the corvette forum yet I would, so much info about the little quirks of these cars. Great C5 you got btw 👍.

Nice car. I bet the owner is in heaven compared to the mini. And finally an LS owner on the one takes that does not overly embellish his hp to show off needlessly to the net. 491rwhp (to the wheels) on an ls3 with ported heads and a small cam, while very strong for those mods, is still believable. For example, My 11/1 compression 418 c.i. Ls3 block stroker with prc 247cc cnc heads, ported fast 92, lightweight clutch, and full exhaust on my cts-v only makes 494rwhp and 500rwtq. That's a very stout ls3 based c5 build. Kudos :) Hey Matt are you gonna be making the swap to the Ls3 in the future? The the different throttle response you felt in the car vs yours should either be from the clutch, cam, tune, heads, or a combo thereof. The displacement will not affect it.
