Funny, I would personnally have said Autumn for Pomme and Spring for Aurora Pomme has such a rich, deep voice, it reminds me of the last autumn's warmth and the season of harvest. It's a warm voice I think, like the reds and the oranges of the leaves. Plus, apples are ripe in Autumn ! On the opposite, Aurora's voice is light and crisp, like the cold mornings at the beginning of spring. It's more high-pitched too, so for me it sounds like light greens and yellows, like the brand new leaves on the trees. It's also very melodious (dunno if it exists in english xD), flowing like the rivers that restart to flow at the end of winter. So yeah, here's my interpretation, 't was not to say that yours is wrong but your comment made me think and I wanted to share :3

@@florijnwillemsen5262 Either she's not saying much because every artist is actually a "materialization" of their music i.e. it comes from a place of genuineness of the soul, or she's simply obsessed. My thoughts are that she thinks she's saying something beautiful out of obsession for Aurora, but what she's saying really isn't something that's special to her. It's the difference between karaoke and the actual artist singing, just perhaps amplified in Aurora's case (though tbh I think she sings about stuff that she believes she should sing about, which reduces this). People have a tendency to think Aurora is more special than she really is because though she does have moments of true beauty, she puts on an ego of freedom (and previously, purity), and they mistake that for real freedom. In any case, this performance wasn't anything special as far as her performances go.

@colliebeakers2 жыл бұрын
@@florijnwillemsen5262 actually, it’s not negative if it’s the truth. But your reply does exemplify a lot of the phony niceties labeled as “love” that permeates Aurora’s fan base. Being “nice” and ignoring ignorance is not love. She can be however she wants. That doesn’t mean she shouldn’t face the truth if someone has the energy to present it to her. It’s up to her if she wants to hold up that image she created, or if she wants to accept the truth of things. And I’m quite certain she can fend for herself if she thinks that I’m wrong. I wouldn’t worry about her or me, frankly.

[Verse 1: AURORA] I’m driving your car with you sleeping in the seat next to me Like a baby, you twist and you turn You’re travelling fast like a bird in a dream [Pre-Chorus: AURORA] Look at it go, look at it dance over the sky like a rocket A love machine, a cinematic dream So pure and it hurts when the beauty is lost in the speed ‘Cause everything matters to me (To me, to me, to me, to me) To me [Chorus: AURORA] You are part of the dawn where the light comes from the dark You’re a part of the morning and еverything matters Herе we are, an atom and a star You’re a part of the movement and everything matters (To me, to me, to me, to me) [Verse 2: AURORA] I’m watching your storm turn into form In the clouds of the world like a burst It dances and it twirls On top of the world, it is good and it hurts [Pre-Chorus: AURORA] Look at it go, look at it dance over the sky like a rocket A teacher, a simulated dream A cure, a cure for the hurt And the pleasure you feel is real [Chorus: AURORA] You are part of the dawn where the light comes from the dark You’re a part of the morning and everything matters Here we are, an atom and a star You’re a part of the movement and everything matters (To me, to me, to me, to me) (To me, to me, to me, to me, to me) [Outro: Pomme] Quelque part, avant l’aube Quand la lumière veut nous voir Quelque part dans le monde un oiseau s’endort Sans bruit, toi et moi Dans la nuit on trouvera Quelque part où déposer les fleurs qu’on a cueillies Pars avant l’aube Quand la lumière veut nous voir Quelque part dans le monde un oiseau s’endort Sans bruit, toi et moi Dans la nuit on trouvera Quelque part où déposer les fleurs qu’on a cueillies Pars avant l’aube Quand la lumière veut nous voir Quelque part dans le monde un oiseau s’endort Sans bruit, toi et moi Dans la nuit on trouvera Quelque part où déposer les fleurs qu'on a cueilli ( Promis, promis, promis, promis... promis)

Like, I literally can't get over how strongly attractive Pomme is in her stoic, yet gentle and "spewing out SUPER COOL VIBESSSS" even though she may look less "performative" here next to Aurora... Like, the hyper Minimalist Aura is blowing my mind right now and I think I should stop here cause wow. 🥺😻🥺💕✨👌🏽

Incredibly beautiful collaboration. The lyrics are of such beauty and so pure. Love the combination of their voices, such a magical ans evocative music. For those who might want a translation of the lyrics from Pomme : 'Quelque part, avant l'aube quand la lumière veut nous voir' Somewhere, before dawn, when light wishes to see us 'Quelque part dans le monde, un oiseau s'endort sans bruit' Somewhere, in the world, a bird silently falls asleep 'Toi et moi, dans la nuit on trouvera, quelque part ou deposer les fleurs qu'on a cueilli.' You and I, through the night, we will find somewhere to lay down the flowers we've gathered 'Promis promis promis.' Pinky swear 😏
