Moment drink-driver arrested after killing baby at 141mph

Darryl Anderson, 38, ploughed into the back of a car as he took photographs at the wheel while more than twice the legal limit for alcohol. Anderson sent Zackary Blades hurtling from his baby seat when he ploughed into his mother’s car on the A1(M) motorway. The infant landed on a verge on the opposite carriageway.
A judge said that Anderson, 38, had played “Russian roulette” with the lives of other road users when he was jailed for 17 years at Durham crown court on Tuesday.

This is why you don't drink and drive or use your phone whilst driving.... Jesus.... He's destroyed everyone's lives, even the police officers and paramedics having to deal with the consequences of his failure to police himself will be traumatised for a long time. All he needed to do is spend the night at an airport hotel, if he has a business it would have saved that business and all of his employees... He's right to say he drove into the back of someone, because that was his entire perception of the event, what he and many drivers forget is the other road users are also people and have families too.

The way he's acting like it's not a big deal is disgusting, he knowling got into the car and acted recklessly and killed two innocents, if he was in USA he would of gotten lift without parole or the death penalty, what he did was calculated and should of been first degree murder on two counts, this sorry excuse for a human being only got 17 years for what he did, that young baby would of lived longer than 17 years and so would his aunt, this is so terrible, rest in love and peace
