I think it’s wonderful that you don’t care what other people think while your dumpster diving Angel, that you’re thinking of your family & who you can donate your finds to. One other thing I think you should carry is (& I mean in your pocket at all times) pepper spray. I know you try to be aware of your surroundings, & maybe you feel safer in the wealthier neighborhoods, but crazy people have no boundaries! You’re all alone out there, you need some type of defense. If someone came up on you from God knows where, what would you do? I carry mine with me at all times. You know as well as I do that not everyone out there is a cuddly little bear! Lol!

That was me with the portable electrical outlet thingy for testing electronics. Yay!! If it works out she gets to go back home faster and kiss those Sam Sam jaws...He's so adorable.

I would put one of those multihead screwdrivers in the bag (they look like a pen, but have different magnetic screwdriver heads inside) a magnet on a stick, so you can grab coins you drop. Tinsnips/pliers so you can cut off protruding wires or metal bits that might be dangerous, or detach things from each other. Saline solution just in case you get battery acid or something nasty on you and need to wash it off (some fresh water and dish soap for the same reason) and a mini hammer (like a toffee hammer) to get out broken glass so you don't have to worry about cutting yourself on wayward shards later. Duct-tape, to secure bits together so they don't get lost, and for covering sharp edges to prevent injury. Seems like a lot to add to your kit, but it'll keep you well prepared and protected 💚

Screw driver cordless pliers, razor blade knife reusables bags the look like little squares all bundled up but you can wash the and they'll fit really nicely in a small space and you can put them in you pocket all so a storage bins of all sizes pluse one for liquid stuff that you find so it doesn't spill in your car also look in to roof storage box

I agree with the commenter that said you need to carry a bottle of contact solution aka saline solution to have just in case you ever get something in your eyes! Also a pair of tweezers just incase you get a splinter or piece of glass... God forbid.

I really enjoy watching your channel on dumpster diving. You're doing what I would love to be doing. I'm hoping after 9 months of fighting lung and brain cancer, that I will soon be allowed to drive again and begin diving myself. I really like that you donate so much of what you find. used to give away fresh food given to me from our church, for just that purpose. The two round glasses with the open bottoms are hurricane glasses. You use them outdoors with a large candle in it. The hurricane glass is used to protect the flame from blowing in the wind and starting a fire.

The additions to the necessities of dumpster diving: (1) Tarps - to keep spills at bay and to protect the top of your car for bigger things you can transport; (2) Screwdrivers/allen wrenches for things that can be taken apart - don't forget a wrench!; (3) towels (for wet-day finds, and (4) your stool that you found in a previous video. I am also glad you got those two glass tubes - hurricane-inspired center pieces, anyone? Great finds!

You can go to a hardware store or order on line a tool kit for ladies, comes with a hammer, screwdrivers, pliers, measuring tape, and maybe alan wrenches. Not sure about the last. Bring water, and maybe a snack. I just looked on amazon they have an extendable handle cutivator. Perfect for dumpster diving. I also looked for different women's tool boxes, there are different sizes and different prices. Yes you would spend some money but you will have access to things you might have to leave behind. Also either get a fold up step stool, or a fold up step, those can be life savers. I can't say best wishes, cause I don't believe in wishes, so I say best thoughts and prayers.

Gesso is for your canvas. You can use that to paint over old canvas and renew them. Say you find art in a frame but you do not like the art. You gesso over it and create what you like. Fresh canvas!

Im actually surprised you didn't take that white nightstand. You could have upscaled it for yourself or sold it at a profit. Just some fyi. ( you may not have had room in the car) the glass cylinders i would use for some pilar candles makes them look very fancy. Anytime you see a piece of free furniture even if you don't want it for yourself or a family member or friend, look at and see the possibilities of it and if you can up cycle it and make bank on it. I guess im trying to get you to diversify out into other areas lol. But it is a thought. Lots of dumpster divers do just that.

Things to add to bag: bottle of water, 1 or 2 tote bags to put small items in, some tools, like a screw driver or wrench also would be handy to carry 1 or 2 tarps in your car. Tarps to cover back seat or trunk so if anything is really dirty it wont make a mess.

My DD kit includes... Multiple pairs of gloves, face masks, Anti Bac wipes, spray & foam, a car lighter adapter that plugs into the lighter, to test out electronics (inexpensive on Amazon), a couple 'grabbers' (also quite inexpensive on Amazon), Scissors, a basic tool kit - multi- screwdriver (can switch out phillips & flathead - inexpensive little rechargeable ones on Amazon, again) - pliers, hammer... Flashlight & headlamp, extra batteries, reusable bags (I rescue & sanitize all I find while out digging), bungees & paracord & a form of personal protection.... I also keep a cooler with water & snacks! Everything fits in in the passenger seat floorboard of the vehicle & can be easily moved!
