ooh i've not heard of that jo malone fragrance before! will definitely give it a go when i'm at the shops again. i like the idea of using a habit app tracker too. and silk flowers! for some reason i didn't know you could find ones that look more realistic. it's probably my best option too as i don't have much of a green thumb and a pop of color/nature is always nice indoors. so happy that your kitchen vase & flowers give you so much joy there. i'd love to try that recipe out, it sounds delicious. and caramelizing fruit in the air fryer sounds fun :D. i could tell by the video that those sandals are extra comfy. ty for sharing all your chic favs in August! i hope you're having the best time in Morocco :). a tad geeky but a fav activity lately has been enjoying the daily NY times games (wordle, sudoku, etc). in my kitchen, i have some favorite dishware, one of which are these cream & mint green ceramic plates i got from a local vendor. they were the first unique dishware i brought home and the amount of joy i experience every time i use them helped me realize it's worth approaching the rest of my kitchen equipment that way too. i also love glassware and have an assortment of those i enjoy as well. in my vintage bathroom, it's a pink & lavender ceramic cup a friend handmade for me that i hold my makeup brushes in. x

I’d be curious to hear if you also love the Jo Malone! And silk flowers were a delightful discovery for me as well. They’re surprisingly not that expensive, and considering they’re only a one-time-purchase, I think they’re a much better deal than constantly buying fresh flowers. 😉 I would LOVE to see your dishes and glassware! Curating beautiful kitchen items slowly is such a satisfying process. I feel like you have such a good eye for things! And your handmade ceramic cup just sounds so lovely and special. 🥰💕 Oh, and I’m a Wordler as well! We should compare scores. 😉

Happy Kitchen bouquet 💐💐 I love that!! Such a simple thing to bring you such joy!!😊 I don't have any favorites for August...i hate to be a downer on such a lovely channel but whew Summer!! We had a week of extremely hot weather & then five full days of wildfire smoke. It was so bad we couldn't go outside for long. I am just not a Summer girl...i am looking forward to my favorite season Autumn!! 🍁🍁 Makeup wise i did purchase the Natasha Denona "I Need a Nude" palette this month. I have only played with it once but so far i like it...not love but like. The YSL Clutch quad i got in July is much more sparkly pink 🩷 Oh one nice thing that happened in this long, hot month was that my husband brought me a bouquet of my favorite flowers...and not for any reason...just because & that somehow seems more special 🥰❤

Oh you’re not a downer at all - you are in fact probably the nicest person on KZbin! 💕✨ I am also NOT a summer girl in any sense of the word and can’t wait for autumn and winter! Everything is better in the cooler seasons. That said, right now I’m in Morocco and the heat is something else. 😂 I am sorry to hear that you had to deal with such horrible effects of the wildfire smoke! We had that in Vancouver a bit as well. That’s good to know about the ND palette… I did wonder if it would be overhyped. Pretty colour story, but the YSL quad does seem more special! That’s so lovely about the surprise bouquet from your husband! He sounds like a very thoughtful person with his romantic gifts and gestures. I am imagining a myriad of pinks in bloom! 💕😘 Yes! The only hiking I’ll ever do is in those pink shoes! And thank you - I love that bright green! I hope you have had a lovely weekend so far ❤️💕

Oh my gosh - THAT GREEN TOP!!! Your description of that Jo Malone fragrance made it sound intriguing. Next time I'm at a perfume counter, I'm definitely going to give it a sniff. Jo Malone makes some lovely fragrances. My favorite of theirs to date is still Wood Sage & Sea Salt. I've only heard good things about Koh Gen Do foundations. And when you said "hydrating but not dewy" and "long-lasting" it was like you were describing my ideal foundation. Gamifying a no-spend is a great tactic and there's a lot of wisdom to it. And what a cleverly simple tool to help find your shopping triggers. I've been wanting to start this ever since you told me about it. That vase and those flowers look gorgeous. You have such beautiful taste! And I'm the same way. As much as I love real flowers, I am not the type of person to go out and buy fresh flowers every few days. And those silk flowers really do look great! Thanks for including that recipe - it looked delicious! To be honest, I'm glad that I discovered your channel during my no-buy year. You discover so many beautiful things. I'm glad my muscles of shopping self-control are strong, or my wallet would be crying. 😂

Funnily enough, I removed a 5+ minute clip from this video in which I compare English Oak and Hazelnut to Wood Sage and Sea Salt! WS&SS is a lighter, less intense version of EO&H. The latter is a lot woodier and more masculine compared to WS&SS, which is more wearable. I’d say EO&H has slightly more character to it and definitely has more staying power. They layer together beautifully! The Koh Gen Do foundation beats all my other foundations to date. It’s holding up very well in the Moroccan heat, too! Ha! I do seem to get excited when talking about certain items. 😂 I am glad that your muscles of shopping restraint are well trained! Mine are slowly getting stronger but are nowhere near your level of superhuman strength yet. 😉 Thank you for always being here, Stephanie!

@@bornblushing Hearing that comparison of English oak and Hazelnut to Wood Sage and Sea Salt is really useful. Thank you! I'll definitely have to give it a sniff now. The fact that the Koh Gen Do foundation can hold up in the Moroccan heat makes it even more impressive. I think the only reason I've never tried the brand is because I've never found any shop that had the product in stock to do a color match. But the few people who talk about it always seem very happy with the complexion products. Oh I wish I were superhuman! I'll have to do an updated Slow Beauty Video when I get back home. Because I am so tempted by so many things right now.

I loved seeing your favorites! I need to go smell that Jo Malone fragrance asap because it sounds delicious and just like the type of fragrance I love! Lately, I've been loving D.S. & Durga's D.S. and Burning Barbershop fragrances they are smoky and woody, but quite unique in my opinion and I just love how they smell. I love how you implement those beautiful pops of color in your home and your wardrobe, I'm not quite as adventurous as you so I'm dying to get a Doen silk dress that's bright blue precisely to bring a little bit of color into my very neutral wardrobe. I also want to try out your toast recipe it looks soo delicious, I've been craving sweets more than usual lately (I'm a major sweet tooth 😓) because where I live it's been quite cold and rainy, so some of my favorite treats have been a lavender latte with a warm cardamom roll and some rosehip jelly or a sourdough toast with camembert, cherry compote and a bit of cinnamon. I loved your happy kitchen bouquet so much! Yesterday I was feeling so stressed out in my room because it has become quite chaotic and I was thinking exactly about this, about what would make me feel better in that space so I have a few little projects in mind, mainly putting up some prints I have, putting a beautiful Indian rug I haven't even been able to put because of my cat & embroidering a cushion, but first I need to declutter, I think even seeing a cleaner space will make me feel happy, but right now I do have some little corners in my bookshelves that are my favorites because I'm someone who's always loved fantasy & history so I love having little spaces in my room that feel a bit whimsical & thematic so I just have images I love, some antique pieces, little dried flowers from special occasions or that I just loved and just beautiful things that can sometimes make me feel like I'm in my own little world. I've also started knitting and it has helped me so much when I'm feeling more anxious or stressed, I actually just finished a very colorful (for me) bag haha. Thank you for sharing. Natalia! Your comments always make my day. Your favourite food and beverages of the moment made my tummy rumble a bit! They sound so delicious, especially that sourdough combo! It’s amazing what power a space has. Having dedicated corners of special items can be so therapeutic. I am currently in Morocco and am in awe of the interior design choices here - they’re truly spectacular and have me wanting to redesign my entire apartment. 😂 I hear you on your bedroom frustrations. I think the bedroom is one of the most difficult spaces to achieve that balance of personality and tranquility. I have heard that knitting is such a healing activity for stress. That’s amazing that you made yourself an entire bag! I am terrible at creating anything with a needle. I remember you saying you studied fashion and design, so I’m sure you have a lot of talent for creating beautiful garments! Thank you so much for being here, Natalia! Ah! It was water with blackberries and oranges. I love how the blackberries turn the water pink. Much less exciting than pink lemonade and rosé though - I am a very boring beverage consumer. 😂
