Also, I need to say this---me working in healthcare, I noticed when Morbius wakes up from killing all the people on the boat and he finds Bancroft flat on the floor---when he puts the blanket on her, she's in a different pose, also known as recovery pose in First Aid/CPR terms; clearly Morbius put her in that position when he found her. Probably the most realistic thing I saw in this movie lmao

Still pretty confused why Vulture was the only for now seen villain of Hollands universe to be switched over to the Venom universe. Vulture named Spider-Man and Morbius seems to know of him, but why would Morbius even care to fight him? He had no interaction at all unless seen off screen. That also begs the question how early on is this universes Spider-Man, because eddie almost had no idea about a spiderman unt he has into the mch universe. Or is Vulture trying to start a universal sinister six to get back to his universe to fight his spiderman?

This movie has looked like hot garbage since day one. Even more surprising is that they had like over 2 years to work on it and fix it lmfao. The reviews shouldn’t be surprising to anyone. It’s Sony. They haven’t made an excellent live action comic book movie since 2004 with Spider-Man 2. We got lucky with Spider-Verse because Lord & Miller were attached and had a good relationship with the studio. Sony has been clueless for years when it comes to Spidey.

Morbius was certainly better than the Venom movies, I don’t know how they have the first Venom above Spider-Man, they absolutely have no merit, that movie kicked off the whole genre and inspired the MCU’s true-to-comic take. Amazing Spider-Man 1 is also greater than 2. Vulture had a life sentence and wasn’t going to see his family anymore, he already made peace with that, and is now gonna lead antiheroes doing good to makeup for his criminal past. It’s a good setup for the eventual Sinister Six.
