It’s difficult for a man to “get out of his own way” when he is wrong...to admit that he is wrong. Our issues rests solely with the problem of self preservation in the face of failure. And nothing hurts more than taking a serious hit while trading. Women have a much easier time with accepting failure and moving forward. They can press with the risk because they’re not concerned about repairing their egos.

This video was the first thing I found when looking for something about gender and trading. The insights are incredibly accurate from my perspective, especially the process part and getting obsessed with it. As a woman who has just started trading forex after months of study and simulation, it’s been fascinating to watch my boyfriend jump into daytrading at the same time and demonstrate every point you made. I hope to find or help establish a female trading community online. It’s hard not to feel like an alien in the forex and trading culture. Thanks for the thoughtful video.

Heather in SC USA checking in. Thank you, VP, for this video! I would love to see more women Forex traders out there- I'm trying to get my friends to learn it, too. I love learning about & working the process. I study and work on building my system and testing that with demo trading. There is so much junk out there so when I found your video last year by accident it was a real blessing. I work FT and my husband is fighting cancer. My goal is to one day replace his income with Forex and add that stream of income to our family. But that won't happen over night and people trying to sell us a system promising large gains quickly are lying. "Pay me xxx dollars and I'll show you how to draw a trend line!" UGH. Many of the women I know handle the bills and finances for their families regardless if they stay home with the kids or work. I tell them to listen to this channel and read the blog. Study. Test. Practice. Do the work and GO GET IT!! Ladies, no one can hold you back in the Forex market except yourself. More men play this game, but we are just as capable and there is no glass ceilings to crack. It's you and the market. Go Get It!!

I win because I make a move when both the big and small things are in my favor... I don't gamble, and I don't hesitate. I know my system and I follow my rules. I’ve been reading the blogs, read the recommended books and watched lots of Peter Schiff and Ray Dalio content. The Money management and Psychology playlists are the most beneficial I find. I’ve even been going back over some of them. I’m demo trading right now working out all the kinks and testing the indicators, developing a strategy and plan, while working my day job to save up to have a good lil sum of money for when I go live in 6 months or so. The trading traits you mention for men and women are spot on. I would add that when i worked in a male dominated target driven industry for ten years. I worked with some exceptional women who were brilliant at the job but whenever they would play the "competitive" game it really didn't come across as natural. The women who didnt look around what others were doing were the best performers in the company. Men's need to make shortcuts or having a mentality of "fake it till you make it" really doesn't work with trading. You have to be brutally honest on where you are at almost daily in order to avoid getting eurphoria that you made it leaning back in your chair with your heads behind your hands. Spot on psychological assessment. I also too find it fascinating in trading.

Gotta say I LOVE the process! I love the learning and the excitement trading can bring. It's by FAR the best decision I made to learn to trade. It suits my health situation perfectly. Needing to work from home I tried the online marketing/network marketing/affiliate marketing route but came full circle with it - all that social media content and team building just wasn't what I truly wanted. Hell I just wanted to make money online....Enter trading. Perfect solution. However - I learned to trade in the crypto market so I love the volatility and probably why I'm chomping at the bit for the Metals video from you (I mean look at silver!!!). I'm struggling a bit with the lack of volatility in Forex to be honest and I'm not in a great time zone for the daily close so my results haven't been great so far - but this is my fault as I need to improve in general and probably got into trades I had no business being in. Having said that I encourage all women who want to work from home to learn. It can be very satisfying and has given me purpose and passion that I've never had before. Love your work VP, thank you for all you do - Megan from NZ.

I like this video, because it shows if you trade the NNFX way, male or female, it gives you the time to research things like social science. VP is proof, and I would say, you have done your research man! Hats off dood.

I don’t know if you were trying to put some humor in this video but I found it very funny yet very true!!

Thanks VP. I really needed to hear this right now. I love the last bit - plan to lose the money you put in and you probably won't. The risk aversion (after previous mistakes) is real. Thank you for providing me the confidence as well as the skills.

VP... I've been trying to get my wife to learn trading to no avail. My 16yo son as well. How do I convince them of the life they can have if they learn and are good at it? A houseful of successful traders can't be bad! I completely agree with you on the women front. Let's get it!

People have to want to, or they just won't do it, even when taught. Gotta have the fascination t go along with it. In a way, I'm glad it's just a large handful of us out here.

Japanese housewives has been dominating Asian session for at least 40 years if you traded Asian session, chances are some of your money has gone to them. Japanese are like, generically modified to be the perfectly disciplined trader, doubly so for the women.
