I completely agree. I think most of them do it in an effort to prevent youtube's copyright bots/algorithms from flagging and demonetizing their videos though. So I get why they do it since the videos are how many of them make their living or support their houshold but it's still highly annoying for the audience.

You should check out Puddles Pity Party's Cover of this song he does a great cover of this as well. I think that you will really enjoy his cover. He is a 7ft tall Clown with a Golden Voice. I promise you wont be disappointed. Great analyses of this great song.

David Draiman had a bit of distortion towards the end of this song, but it was controlled and it was very fitting way and time to have it. A little bit of distortion in the right moment isn't really a bad thing. David Draiman has had some classical training and his idol was a certain Mr Freddie Mercury.
