I love these movements. I watch it and say no way I can’t do that, so I try it and then I get halfway. That night I try it and I go all the way. They should be teaching this in school for gym class.

Wearing the Xero Speed Force right? I bought a pair and was really excited about them but they were just too narrow for my feet. Really wished they made a wider version because I think I would have loved them.
@timgrzybek47015 жыл бұрын
Have you wore any of the other Xero shoes before or just the speed force?

@@timgrzybek4701 The Speed Force are my first pair of Xeros. I normally wear Vivo Stealths.

@@ryanjandrey3177 and Vivo Stealths have a wide toe box? What other wide tox box shoes have you wore successfully before?
@OriginalStrengthSystem5 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry to hear that Ryan. You must have some wide feet! The Vivo Stealth is also a great shoe. I have 2 pairs of those. The Xero Prio has a very wide toe box, the Speed Force does seem a slight more narrow.
@ryanjandrey31775 жыл бұрын
@@timgrzybek4701 Yeahh the Stealths are wide enough for me and I think my feet have gotten slightly wider from wearing them (toes splayed out some). I've looked into the SoftStar RunAmoc Primals and they have a super wide toe box but I haven't actually worn a pair yet.

Tim - you got extra long arms ? It's killer on the shoulders especially on the first try. But feels good.

I’d say my arms are “normal” length. We are all different though, and we all bring our own proportions to the table.

Thanks Tim! This looks like it feels really good. Do you have any good moves for someone in their third trimester of pregnancy? Or alternatives to rolling, that's getting uncomfortable lol
@beastbuilder5 жыл бұрын
is it advisable to roll additionally on your neck or shoulder girdle?
@OriginalStrengthSystem5 жыл бұрын
I guess that would depend on the person. I enjoy rolling on my shoulder girdle and occasionally on my neck. I mix it up with how I feel. Depending on the person’s ability and health, this can be great.

Tim, I'm writting a blogpost on a program in which I'd like to give you a shoutout, and I'm using, at least, that movement where you open your hips and extend your shoulders, if not the whole flow. Could you please tell me the name of that movement of hip and shoulder extension? Lovely movement flow by the way. Thanks!
@OriginalStrengthSystem3 жыл бұрын
Hey thank you! That movement is kind of like a mini-tabletop maneuver. Maybe it could be called the “coffee tabletop”? I’m not great with names…!

What if I can't roll up to my knees? I get to my feet with my hands behind me but can't move forward from there
@OriginalStrengthSystem4 жыл бұрын
Without actually being able to see you move, or visualize you, I’m just guessing at what to tell you. However, the principles remain the same: Just move where your body will let you go and explore from there. It doesn’t have to look pretty and it’s okay if it looks like an accident. Eventually the body will give you more motion and smoother motion. You may also need to stagger your feet or move asymmetrically to get to your knees. That is okay. You may even need to put a prop or stool around you to help you figure it out. That is okay, too. It’s mostly about exploration. From there, the discoveries grow. I hope this helps some.
