Let me walk you step by step through making this beautiful afghan. First we will make the blocks, then assemble the afghan then add the border all in one video. You will need 9 skeins of Lion Brand "Scarfie" (5) Bulky weight yarn. You will also need a size K-10 1/2 (6.5 mm) crochet hook)
This afghan is made using a technique called yarn manipulation which will be explained in the video.

I LOVE this mosaic block design. Made myself a king size blanket using your pattern but I used 6 individual colours rather than a colour changing yarn. Turned out absolutely amazing. I made this blanket in the same colors a few months ago except I used Bernat velvet in snowy white, tiny teal and misty green. It turned out stunning. I've also modified the stitch and made a pansy flower blanket using this technique. They're on my channel if you'd like to see them.
