You can actually take the 15 round magazine from the MC 2C and use it on the MC2CSC. All you have to do is get the 14 round mag take the plastic stopper on the magazine out and put it on the 15 round magazine and it works great.

I can’t understand why people complain about pulling the trigger on a Glock before take down. Of course the gun should be unloaded before taking it down, and there you are pulling the trigger on this gun anyway. What’s the difference?!
@pewpewTN3 жыл бұрын
I've never understood that either. As someone that does a lot of dry fire practice, it feels pretty normal to me.
@RidersRange3 жыл бұрын
I don't think it's so much complaining about having to pull the trigger, but more of a case where too many people have pulled the trigger with a round in the chamber. I know, I know - check the chamber and double check. But there are still lots of folks who rack the slide to remove the round from the chamber, THEN remove the magazine, thinking the gun is empty without that check and double check. Mossberg apparently is trying to reduce the liability. Thanks for watching and commenting.

As always, thank you for watching and commenting. My main complaint with the 365 is the grip circumference. I cured that with a Hogue HandAll, which makes it almost the same circumference as the Mossberg and much more comfortable to shoot.

People said the same thing when I had that issue with the Taurus GX4 (shots were high and to the left). I liked the first Mossberg pistol (although I never got one) because it takes Glock 43 mags. This one looks pretty nice too. It’s good to have yet another offering in this size category.

Nice review! In a lot of the other reviews I've seen, the shooters haven't had any issues with accuracy. There may be an issue with your particular pistol. Would have been interesting to see if you had the same problems with a red dot. That would have at least removed the sights from the equation.

The Sig P365 has spawned a host of small polymer hand guns; apparently there is something for everyone. I’m in Massachusetts so I’m restricted to 10 round magazines, therefore arguments made for higher capacity, double stack, magazines is moot. I’ve handled but not shot many guns like the MC2sc and find them too light. I carry a P365 xl in the summer and a P229 legion or P226 legion RXP in the winter, heavier clothing allowing me to more easily conceal. I shoot the 34 ounces very well, and such a gun is easier to control than the snappy 365, particularly with 142 grain hollow points. Caveat: I’m 66 and just prefer an all metal hammer fired gun to plastic striker fired (yes I know the 365 is plastic and striker fired). Some people will happily carry the MC2sc, which is better than not carrying. My wife carries a government Nighthawk. She won’t even consider the 365, though she does have an all metal Sig 232 in .380. Best Regards and thank you. Easily one of the best 5 firearm channels on KZbin. It’s a great deal of work putting these videos together.
@RidersRange3 жыл бұрын
TFC, thank you very much for watching and commenting. I have a few years on you, but I concur that an all-metal hammer-fired pistol brings something to the table that a "plastic fantastic" just doesn't have. (Though I also carry my P365XL on rare occasion.) And thank you for your kind words about this channel. It's much appreciated.

@waynecastleman13633 жыл бұрын
I don't see it being a bad gun at all , well introduced from Mossberg, the oldest family firearms company in the USA, so it's they know a thing or to about firearms. I believe this is their first pistol and it seems they understand the market very well producing this EDC design that fits today's easy carry favorite for many folks . I think it's a smart choice for Mossberg and will have its fans.
@RidersRange3 жыл бұрын
It's a decent pistol for its intended purpose, but not Mossberg's first pistol. The MC1sc was introduced in 2019 (I did a couple reviews on that pistol), and it was Mossberg's first pistol introduction in 100 years. Then in 2020 they came out with the MC2 compact, followed this year by the sub-compact MC2sc. The MC1sc was a single stack 9 that took Glock 43 magazines. It wasn't really a hit and is no longer in the catalog. The MC2sc will have its share of fans and the price is decent. But it's tough to compete in the increasingly crowded sub-compact market and they are a little late to the party.

R P, thank you for watching and commenting. I could probably do better with the MC2sc if I devoted a lot of training time with it, as most pistols are more inherently accurate than most shooters. However, if you have followed my channel for any length of time, you would know that I'm a decent shot, regularly hitting small steel plates at 50 yards with some pretty small pistols.
