The amazing thing is only two players didn't burn all the bridges from the Bad boy Pistons. Dennis Rodman was able to get to the Bulls and win 3 Championships. I look at the Bad Boy Pistons in this way. Were they dirty? Of course they were. Were they villains? Without a doubt. But they abused the rules of the game to win. They didn’t break any rules. But regardless, those tactics on guarding him were nicknamed the 'Jordan rules' by the media. I respect that they won, but i don't respect how they won. I don't respect the Jordan Rules. Dennis Rodman said that the Pistons should put Jordan on the ground. That's pretty much trying to injure him to gain an advantage. I don't mind being physical in defense or using mind games to slow down the opponent's best player, but there are boundaries in how you do it.

Isiah caused the beef by just being himself. When him and his team couldn't prison ball their way past the bulls anymore ,they disrespected MJ and the bulls by not shaking hands after their loss. Everyone even said and knew Jordan was the best individual player in the game playing into the late 80's and early 90's but he couldn't win: he failed the test 3 straight years against Detroit from 1988-90 and it took the Pistons letting him win and then breaking up their team in order for Jordan to win and keep winning -- that's just the facts and truth of what took place. The Pistons competing and keeping their championship team together into 1991-92 healthy, no way Chicago keeps winning, even if you think they won legit in '91.
