If there is one thing we must learn from the ministry of Jesus, it’s not just the content (truth) of our message that critically matters, it’s the MANNER of our conveyance of that message. I would argue that the very fact that Doug has brought so much attention to himself (instead of to Jesus) answers this question. As an example, consider RC Sproul’s ministry. When I think of Ligonier, I think of the unvarnished Gospel of Christ; truth about the holiness of God that cuts my heart. Can the same be said of Doug’s ministry?

I go to a southern Baptist church, I study reformed theology and find not feel that it is the most biblical train of thought for a Christian life. Three weeks ago my pastor gave a sermon on you can be saved and not know CHRIST. I felt like vomiting. It was not a statement but the hole sermon was about that idea. I've always talked to him about different doctorians. But this is an gospel issue. Its like the cross is an get out of hell free card with no accountability, no repentance, no regeneration no Holy Spirit guiding us. I'm leaving the church but I feel like I'm leaving my brothers and sisters , my Christian family. Some of them are studying there bibles deeper and starting to see God for who He is in His Glory .is this a hill I should die on,or just go back and be humble
