Chris is a lyrical genius. he also enjoys his trilogies. this is like the third installment to Eternally Yours and Another Life, where he's essentially coming to terms with his mistakes concerning his relationships (or that's what I'm assessing). he's mentioned before his insecurities and how he self sabotages himself so Masterpiece is sort of a love letter to that overall acknowledgement. he's just a beautiful writer and such a good soul. I've met him twice and everytime it's like he looks into you⠀....⠀like eye contact to the UMPTEENTH DEGREE. a down to earth and honest person. this song and music video literally brought tears to my eyes.

That lyric line right there actually remind me of my own bad behaviour. Of destroying my own artwork. Most commonly self portraits.
@kacywatson63142 жыл бұрын
@Wolfwildfire absolutely. I do the same. And before anyone asks I paint to express pain and fear. As someone with autism pain and fear are very complicated emotions to me and I don't know how to word them. So I paint them. So my self portraits are me in pain, or me in fear. My paintings will be shown to whoever I feel most comfortable with showing them to, friends family sometimes on display in certain places for a while. But then it's not long before I take them back take them down, when am feeling better and destroy them. Smash, tare them, burn them. Whatever. It's how I beat and get over these emotions.
