Annemarie, thank you. I really apreciated your work. The way you teach is positive , engaging and inspring. I begin to talk more in daily meeting. Before, I just lowered my head and avoided every chance of public speaking. Now I take them all. YOu are my favorite teacher.

Thank you Annemarie for this lesson on the idealistic idea of teamwork. in reality, success has many fathers and failure has one. Nobody thanks you for successful tasks because the expectations are that you will always do it. however, if something is wrong, there are many critical remarks. usually the leader eliminates those with talents and creativity - this is how competitior is eliminated. these are the sad facts.

No matter how hard you drill in learning English, there is big different in learning written English and oral English, in written English, you can read as many books as you like and you get progress, but not in spoken English which requires you to live in certain part of the region to mix up with their people to learn their particular style of speaking and also their particular meanings, which is seldom be possible and plausible, this is the limit of learning foreign language.

Hello Annemarie. Great video! I was wondering if you could help me with using the word "since" in the context : Since next week she will have classes with Martin on Saturdays at 5 pm. Does this sentence make sence to you?
@Speakconfidentenglish2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the question. Since is used as a time marker. It indicates a time in the past until the time under consideration, typically the present. The example here is future-focused, which means we can't use 'since.' Rather, we would say, "Starting next week..."

Currently, our staff that exerts pressure on coworkers is trained on the basis of the book by Daniel Goleman. Annemarie may be You could also mention that trendy important topic in your materials: significance of emotional intelligence in management (and also in private life) 😄 Motivation is a high level of teamwork. If you have an emotional intelligence - you motivate others. If you are focused on your own career - you don't care about the development of others and the company's mission.
@Speakconfidentenglish2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the thoughtful comment. Emotional intelligence is absolutely an important topic. I'd love to do a future lesson on it. In the meantime, you might enjoy a lesson I did on empathy, which briefly highlights emotional intelligence. www.speakconfidentenglish.com/express-empathy-in-english/
