Wonderful review! I was stuck between choosing the 2GB ram or 4GB ram version and after watching the video, i decided to order the higher ram version because i intend to keep my phone for a couple of years. Also, the camera and battery life results in the video helped me make the decision to get the Moto G5 plus. Thanks and keep up the good stuff! :)

Nathan Bullock Battery life is fine. Not very good I would reckon. I'm a heavy user, sometimes it gets me through the day sometimes it don't. But the main issue which I faced and no one seems the talk about is that the standby battery life on this phone is terrible. I sleep with my charged somewhere around 50% and when I wake up the next morning it is 25%-30%. Tho fast charging on this is nice.

Saksham Lamba bro can you tell me how is call quality , audio quality both headphones & output .!!
@shlokagrawal17277 жыл бұрын
Saksham Lamba Well, I certainly get better standby time. If I leave the phone at 50% before sleeping, I usually get about 46-47% when I wake up.

Video work was so sweet. Moreover sample camera shots taken on G5+ were eligible enough to specify camera performance in every lighting conditions.

someone forgot to mention that it doesn't have the compass sensor.
@DavidMichaelBurnett7 жыл бұрын
In the UK, apparently it does. Check Curry's. It also has NFC in the UK. Unfortunately, it doesn't have either in the US. Specs seem to differ in different parts of the world?
@bitgod7 жыл бұрын
Oh wow. I knew about the NFC, which isn't a biggie to me, but not having a compass on the U.S. model will make me reconsider things.

The US version does have a compass but no NFC

I'm debating between getting the G5 Plus or the Nokia 6 when it comes out just not sure which one
@WhatTheFragrance7 жыл бұрын
CJ Foster the best is oneplus 3t
@cjfoster53657 жыл бұрын
LaZe VIRAL I don't have money for a 3t I'm looking for something under $300 US dollars mainly less then $250 preferably

CJ Foster then I would recommend the Nokia 6. but it depends your needs

+CJ Foster Moto G5 plus and Lenovo P2 these two are currently the best smartphone available in your budget. I love Nokia but don't go with Nokia 6. G5 plus and P2 both are superior than Nokia 6
@cjfoster53657 жыл бұрын
I guess the biggest thing that detracts from the G5 Plus is updates and it sounds like Nokia might be better in that regard plus it has NFC

this is only applicable in the west though. here in asia, a lot of chinese brands would murder it. My xiaomi redmi note 4 for example, is only 160USD, has an all metal body, a 10 Core Helio X20 cpu, 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal(expandable), with CPU performance beating even snapdragon 810.
