Is there any danger in scraping a non-folding fix peg like you did on your RSV4 leaned over on a turn?

The chances of you scraping peg after installing rearsets is pretty slim. If you did scrape, you’d be carrying a lot of lean angle or the shock is compressing quite a bit. Even if you did scrape, nothing bad results. Just a less pretty foot peg.

Race footpegs are fixed. That is correct. Bonamici folding footpegs can be ordered as an accessory if you prefer to add that to your setup.

I am 5'10" with about a 31" inseam. Everyone is shaped differently, so that is the benefit of rearsets. You can dial in your perfect foot and lever position.
