@@MoviesinDepth they botched her surgery so she can't really sing like she used to
@sarahrosencrans2402
@sarahrosencrans2402 2 жыл бұрын
@@MoviesinDepth confirmed this is true. She had a “routine” surgery that ended up permanently ruining her ability to sing. It was a devastating loss for her and she was never able to sing like she used to. The fact that she finally sang (even just these few low notes) was hugely emotional for everyone involved. Absolutely not a dry eye.

@@MoviesinDepthI know I’m late to the party but I think the first time Julie sang after the surgery was this kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGfNkGakqcSIiNksi=LAS633lRMRYN3gkT . Gary Marshall loved reusing the same actors in all his movies, which is why you recognized that guy from Valentine's Day lol. He also loved allowing his own family to play characters. I did want to let you know that funfact: the ex boyfriend actor really was touring with his band at the time so they just used it for the storyline here lol also: the string cheese was a reference to the first movie when mia broke the statue's finger and put it in the mouth; she reasoned at the time maybe it was supposed to be cheese. what this made me realize though is that for the most part its amaing how many side actors were kept for this second movie!
