However, the specialist pathway is indeed a suitable option for you but that depends on various factors such as your qualifications, and the extent and quality of your experience, and how well you construct your CV and prepare for your interview. Finally, after getting the UK experience, and with an MSc in a surgical field, how certain is it for a doctor to get a specialty like Orthopedics? A doctor from the UK just left Australia and one of the reasons she cited was that the referee part of the application into surgical specialty makes it difficult for some to get into this specialties from outside.
