You can also add drum fill ins or variations on seperate tracks and just mute/unmute them when you want them to play

Thanks for the ideas and tricks I'm going to watch but ironically the audio on this video sucks you can barely hear it and there is a super loud hiss maybe you had it going through some type of filter but I couldn't take the constant hissing in the background it was driving me CRAZY how can you give lessons on audio when you don't even know how to record it???
