After they are dry, not not coated in any type of clear-coat, how bad are they for rub-off when handled and/or polished? Also, how are they after being clear-coated?

Paul try downloading Google translator , and take a pic of the chinese instructions on the bottle and it will translate the characters to english using the translator and you will get the directions for those paints.

can you use these paints with hand brush?

These paints are meant to be airbrusjed, but, to some extend you can brushpaint with them. The manufacturers site suggests going in the same direction with the brush strokes, but im not shure what impact they could have on plastic. It is possible that they would eat into it and leave cravks and make the plastic fragile.

You didn't get the results because ,....first off ,....your base black has a satern finish.. Spray gloss black and use 2 coats , The higher the gloss finish on you black the better the chrome will work with the light gentle coats like you were doing . Doing it this way that AK chrome would have come up like a mirror .. By the way ,....love your bike . Cheers
