Proper figure is unknown, it's between 250-300 I would say. It was pulling away from a Kswapped Elise today.

@@Justaddboost nice would be interested to know before you 2zz swap it?. I will be boosting mine soon. Dont want it faster than my mx5 so thinking about 230ish with a td04 13t

@@goldenvtr sorry to ...disappoint you, but you have to try hard to make an turbocharged MR2-S slower than an MX-5. And with a Td04L-13T your car will be so fast on the exit of a corner, that your MX-5 will not be able to match.

@@aftastosk6016 i suggest you have a look at my youtube channel and then comment again lol. maybe a basic build mx5 vs basic build mr2 the mr2 wins but in the case of my mx5's spec im not worried. just want some more umph from the daily (mr2)

@@goldenvtr ok I watched your channel I admit that it seems one of the best MX-5s out there. VF35 is an excellent choice, better than the usual 2860. It seems very responsive and torquey. Is this an 1.8? Also, why have you switched from a Td05 to a VF? Usually it happens the other way around. I have a Td04L-13T in my MR2-S. If you think it a fun, daily choice you are a bit mistaken. When it was tuned initially I tried to maxed it out and it was crazy fast. Really frantic, I had already crazy power by 3000 rpm. In my case I had also problems with boost spikes and I was regularly going more that 1,4 bar (max recorded 1,47 bar). With that boost levels I had max power at around 5300 rpm but by then I had so much speed that even on track the next corner was fastly approaching, that fast. It was impossible to drive on the road at any relaxed manner so I went into a very conservative tune with 209 whp at 10 psi at 6800 rpm, which makes the car very streetable but I admit that after VVTi kicks in I feel like I would like more power. The Td04L-13T is perfect for a 1.6 MX-5 where there is a very obvious difference in power between this car and the MR2-S below 3000 rpm in stock form. My suggestion is to go the T3 manifold that Gary has and opt to purchase to greddy Td04H-15G, the same that is available for the MX-5 turbo kit, using a T25 adapter. The car would be less frantic (even now I have max boost at 2800 rpm with the wastegate at 0,5 bar, which is crazy) having a more liner power delivery and more power on top.
