Watching the hatchling turtles make they're way to the water was amazing, then the whales! That gave me chills. Made me remember whale watching in Alaska. They are magnificent creatures. This is one of my favorite Baja episodes, thanks for taking me along! ❤ you two!

I loved the Todos Santos area when I visited Cabo there several years ago and hope to revisit the area in the near future once I am officially on the road. I think a Baja adventure guide would be a great idea! I particularly loved the diversity of marine life as I was an avid fan of Jacques Cousteau as a young girl and the waters surrounding the Baja Peninsula were his playground!

Where your motorcycle carrier slides into the hitch receiver you need to drill and tap two 3/8" holes. Then crank down bolts till they pinch down on the 2" square carrier sleeve. Then get a welder to add a removable support from Spirit's frame to the fixed portion of the pivot arm as far out from the receiver as possible. That's what I did to my 1 up rack attach pivot arm. I have a 280lb. dual sport on the back of my camper with no issues.

I was just in Baja. Go to Magdalena bay and go on the small 6 person boat out into the bay and you will witness whales beneath your boat that are 20 feet long. So many and it’s amazing. We also saw whales in Cabo Pulmo.

maybe lucky blue got unlucky with topes but you both are sooo lucky; not only do you get to see TURTLES (my people) on their maiden voyage as the sun sets, but then the whale show at sunset too! thar she blows! you are truly blessed

You guys could always get one of those foam noodles that people have in their pools and cut a small piece off and put it over the end of the handgrip so it will have padding when it touches the window

I know you're not asking for it but I'm voting for you to make your home in Todos Santos. It looks like it has everything that you're looking for. A beautiful, vibrant art community, great farm raised crops, freshly caught seafood, scenic beaches, windsurfing, and endless areas to hike and take lucky-blue for those great bike rides. Also, it doesn't require an expensive plane ride to get back to the States.

Put a pool noodle on the handle-bar of the motorcycle. Extend it all the way to the window. Just a cheap full time solution.

Possible Solution. Load bike other way round. Install a guard plate to the ladder.

Good idea, but we already broke the ladder off its bracket a few months back after a rough bumpy road in NM. So as a fix we began loading it the other way round... guess that was perfect either. 🙈

Hey there guys! awesomeness is! lol! I was thinking of your bike problem, some old MX tips from an 80's MX racer.. we had 3 bikes on a trailer.. once one bashed a hole on the other one's seat.. we resolved this by using tie-downs direct on the wheels, wrap a tie-down through the spokes and round under the trough the wheel is in,, anchoring front and back.. then tie-down straps on the steering handlebar sort of as wide as possible, like by the handgrip on the steel, not the rubber grip, and pull them tight to compress the front shocks about 1/2 way. also tie down the rear, from frame parts.. this should prevent your window replacements lol!

Yeah PDF book would be cool 'cause a lot of guys are going to Baja. Hey I have an idea for you to help with your window problem. See if there's a metalworking shop there see if they can Weld a piece of screen on your bike rack kind of in front of the window but it needs to be attached to the motorcycle carrier so when you take the motorcycle carrier off it goes with you so that screen can block the handlebars from going into the window because you guys travel a lot off the road even in the United states I would say a piece of cattle panel but the hole is too big your handlebar will go through so maybe some strong wire mesh??? Or get a piece of tin roof cut the size of the window and put it on with screws that you can take it off when you don't have the bike on the back traveling just some ideas.
