I grew up watching MST3K on the rare occasion early in the morning at my Grandparents. It was not only the best thing to happen on a weekend, but it was all we could talk about the next week at school. Now, I have a child of my own and the last two days I was able to watch so many of these post surgery. I still can't wait to talk about these movies when I return to work after the Holiday weekend. Edit: this movie suggested to me by a coworker, it's one of his favorites.

Is it the era where you started watching the show? I've found that people tend to be the most attached to the place they started. My introduction to the show was MST3K the movie, and the seasons that came after. I'm a fan of Joel as well, but its not my era.

The first episode I ever saw was The Pod People, when I was around 11 years old. I thought it was hilarious, but as I grew and watched the show I found I liked seasons 8-10 the best. I'm still a fan of Joel and Trace, but I think the Mike, Kevin, and Bill trio is my favorite riffing line-up. That being said, the Cinematic Titanic Live shows are some of the best comedy pieces I've ever seen, and none of those three are in those shows!

1:29:12 ik this is like 30 years late, but the bald butt on the spider is a sign of stress. Tarantulas from the western hemisphere have urticating hairs that they flick off when they feel threatened. If the hairs land on you, theyll make your skin feel irritated, like an itchy rash that goes away after a few days. They become bald if they flick off too much hair. I think the movie has an Arizona blonde tarantula, which are about as friendly as a spider could get (when theyre not twice the size of a car lol)
