You could probably do the drums for this. But I challenge you to even figure out the chords, nevermind play the guitar or bass parts 😉

Another one of those Japanese bands that is just packed to the gills with talent. F-Chopper Koga is one of the best rock bassists in the world today, Fuki is a vocal tornado, and all of them are crazy good. Hana plays probably a dozen instruments well. Yes, the harmonies and layered sounds and background growls--no one else sounds like them.

For a side project, D$B is packed with exceptional musicians and great song writing and over the years they've just gotten better and better. Two of their latest releases, "Mindset" and "I wish I" are must see to appreciate just how great this band is.

Hana Sano, drummer/vocals here, and multi instrumentalist/composer in GS, can play and do whatever she wants. A fan blog post stated that she can play ten instruments, but did not list them. I've watched her play four on videos as well as clean and harsh vocals. She also played part of a Nirvana cover with household utensils during lockdown. Very cool lady.

About the guitarist Tomo-Zo. It seems no-one has mentioned she went to Musicians Institute and had a certain Mikio Fujioka as a sensei. One of the students that was there at the same time was Takayoshi Ohmura. I'm pretty sure LEDA was there at the same time and ISAO were a couple of years ahead of them. As far as I understand MI is kind of like Berklee College of Music but on steroids.

Love F Chopper Koga,bass! Thank you for reacting to this video.

Oh god, this is my favorite song from them. All of these ladies are so talented but I gotta make a special mention to the love of my life, TMZ and the funkiest bassist there is, F Chopper Koga.

Love both Gacharic Spin and Doll$Boxx. Hana is indeed super cool, but all their members are extremely talented. I also hope to see more Lovebites coverage from you.
I LOVE this song! Easily my favourite Doll$boxx song! I'd so love to see them live but chances are they will never play live as Doll$boxx again, much less outside of Japan.

Pre pandemic gacharic spin did the Houston anime convention every year. I flew down from Wisconsin in 2019 and it was super worth it. Keep an eye out for em as the world normalizes. They were all really nice for the meet and greet too, koga does so much behind the scenes too.

@@delbomb3131 Europe here but yea, Gacharic Spin would be great to see, too. I would like to see Doll$boxx even more though ;) And Koga is one of my idols as a bassist! :)

Gacharic Spin are in my humble opinion the best rock band around. Fantastic musicians and performers!
@cepho83493 жыл бұрын
Their musicianship is certainly up there with the best. People talk about Band-Maid being creative and they are, but Gacharic Spin are probably even more interesting imo. But their music is pretty eclectic and not as accessible.

It's about time you do Gacharic Spin now 😁, IIRC you mentioned in a stream that Mindset is already on your list.

Tomo-Zo actually uses a midi amp in her normal load out so she can assist in the synth parts if the need arises. Oreo usually doesn't need the assist but when she does Tomo-Zo is there for it.

Great reaction Wave! Victor Entertainment are still annoying when you react to their MVs. I'm glad the video wasn't cut and that we could hear the song with you. All the MVs from DOLL$BOXX 2017 EP are under Victor Entertainment but the videos from their first album (2012) are under KING RECORDS label and there is no problem reacting to them. Remember that DOLL$BOXX is Gacharic Spin (minus Yuri and Angie now of course) + Fuki from Unlucky Morpheus. I'm still waiting for your reaction and analysis of Gacharic Spin's "MindSet" (my fave song of the year!) and technically, you didn't reacted yet to Unlucky Morpheus (QUADRATUM doesn't count 😝). So I'm also waiting for a reaction to their song...🤔 let's say "Angreifer" live ✌🏻🙃🙏🏻
The guitarist did the yngwie diminished lick that's why it sounded like classical music.

Besides Take My Chance’s maid outfits 6months before Miku met Saiki, DB was also doing the Mannequin challenge (in half of their 14 “videos for each song”) to emphasize the dolls being manipulated, years before the challenge went viral…

Here is a little info. Tomozo uses PRS Custom24 , not SE.
@WavePotter3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for clarifying that! I’m trying to learn how to tell the difference. Does the SE custom 24 have the exposed wood on the back?

Oh, I wish DB find some time to make a new concert. I don't need new songs, just concert and blue-ray. Tomo-zo, please
