It’s a syndicate that runs deep. Drugs is not the main concern of the syndicate. Why was Alex’s brother allowed to walk the crime scene with first responders? Alex bought Moselle in a deal off one of those drug importers and a very dubious deal.

@@crystalturken You might consider subscribing or watching KZbin channel "Murdaugh Murder Podcast". It's run by a local journalist named Mandy Matney, who has been investigating the Murdaugh family for over three years. If you'd like to know specific details about the whole scope of what's happened regarding Alex Murdaugh. This includes the cooperation of Palmetto State Bank, lifetime friend and fellow lawyer Corey Fleming, and a local lady judge named Mel _____ ? that have availed themselves and their power to help this thievery down the river with little interference. It's a good time to catch up on previous podcasts. Mandy is getting married and will be gone for 2 weeks. Her partners will still be producing research and news in her place. They also cover the ties to the deaths of Gloria Satterfield, Stephen Smith, and Young Mr. Pinkney. Her intense research focus on Murdaugh developments exclusively definitely satisfy the curiosity of anyone following this saga. She doesn't miss a grain of sand or blade of grass. She is thorough and mercifully considerate enough to explain some of the points that might be a little difficult for some to understand. This comes from someone who knows first hand, 99.9% people would never notice they on drugs until they broke. I’m an addiction psychologist. Actually after 10 years I can’t handle that demographic anymore and I’m going back to study to become a teacher. After an ectopic pregnancy I got hooked on opioids for years. It makes you numb but it didn’t stop me from doing anything. Addiction is different to dependency. Plus, I have a friend who is a history lecturer and been on heroin for more then 25 years. Actually heroin. He look skinny and pale but if you don’t know there’s no any way of seriously thinking he may be a user. Another friend just stopped after 30 years. He worked as a manager caretaker of private posh building in Chelsea. He’s a biker and he was overweight. Now he lost weight, he’s vegan and different person. It’s extraordinary how many people are on heroin and carry on with normal productive lives.

There’s back story they haven’t even mentioned about his son killing that girl while drunkenly driving a boat, and his daddy getting him off. I think it’s important backstory with the drug charges against him, because the assertion always was he owned the cops. I think people outside looking in thought it was just because he was a big fish in a small pond. But now I also think there are probably some crooked cops in that area that are helping with the drugs in some way, either by being paid off, or what have you.

I can see Alex being involved in all these sketchy things, but WHERE IS THE MONEY? Why did he need to steal from clients? He either WAS on drugs or had a SERIOUS gambling problem. I'm thinking gambling. Someone with a serious gambling addiction is as serious as a bad addiction. I have seen people with minor gambling issues take from family and friends, never have anything to show for it and they care about NO ONE. It's like their conscience is sucked out of them. An addict will apologize and feel bad for what they have done. They Also do it because they are physically sick and just need to get well quick and it's just a repeated cycle. Gambling is different.

🤔I personally think it's suspicious how the defendant on the 911 call, stated his name first , before he even started telling the 911 operator about his emergency. I believe he did that because he probably figured he'd be treated better if law enforcement knew who was calling 911.

@@nadagabri5783 True dat. PLENTY of speculation and rumors surrounding this case. I thought there was a gag order in place. This has got to be one of the leakiest pretrial scenarios I can recall. It will be very interesting to hear about the testimony from the murder trial. Ast first, I assumed it was someone getting revenge for Mallory Beach and Maggie was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but all the gossip has made me think otherwise. If it's true that Alex was willing to steal to the extent he's been accused of, and from who he stole from, I'd believe he'd kill to save his own hide. No question.

No one notice, I always got praised for doing my job better than most other workers. The only time they would’ve noticed is if I did NOT shave them. Then you’d see a change in me. It’s not hard to hid for a lot of people. People don’t understand you don’t start out taking tons. Most people slowly build a tolerance & they can build themselves up to take as many as 20- 30 strong pain killer with very strong anxiety medicine simultaneously, it always amazes me that people have this stereotype of drug addicts.

Regarding where the mother and son were found.... it’s a 1700 acre estate, and that’s a lot of land! So how did a stranger know where to find them if this was a random act of violence? Were they "done in" elsewhere, like at the house, and moved to that spot or did the heinous act happen where they were found?? I’ve listened to the details throughout this long process but none of this is mentioned. If I was returning home after being out and my adult family wasn’t in the house, I wouldn’t immediately go searching for them. I wouldn’t immediately think the worst. I just find it odd that he (Alex) went right to where they were. Anyone have more details I’ve missed or thoughts about him finding them there??

If he was a drug kingpin he was crap at it. He needed to steal! No real kingpin needs to steal. They are looking for ways to hide the money. However, what did he do with all those millions? Clearly could not have spent that much on drugs or girlfriends. Gambling, I think they would have found that link. A mystery. Killing his family??? A bigger mystery. Sad.

Ok, the two guns, he could use two different guns if they got there at different times. Also, he is a MASTER at criminal, deceitful behavior. He planned this, you can bet on that. He wanted to create the confusion which is exactly what everyone is talking about. He is still in the driver’s seat. This is so disgusting.

1) These could be inherited client's. 2) Appears he is on opposite side to gang.....potential turf war. 3) Pissed off his own people and lost badly. 4) He pissed off many many many people...the scope is vast. 5) Debts dont get paid if main man dead! However a clear message is sent when you witness the death of your own!

These folks seem completely oblivious about opioid addiction. This man could very well have been taking opioids for 20yrs and no one notice. He was wealthy, doctor shopping is very common with the rich, and probably never experienced any withdrawal and picking up prescriptions is very common. What would you expect to notice?

Why is it so hard to believe that one man could use two guns? He could have been holding one gun and the other gun was hanging over his shoulder. He was driving the golf cart. Both guns could have been in the golf cart. It's so obvious to me that he used two guns so that he would not be considered a suspect. Just like your guests are surmising... how could one person shoot two guns. He was an avid shooter. Like he told his sister-in-law "someone planned this for a long time."

I’m sorry but that lady has no idea what she is talking about when it comes to the ozarks and I know it’s confusing but lake of the ozarks is where ozark is set. Branson mo is down by Arkansas and it’s part of the ozarks but not lake of the ozarks that up more towards kc area. Branson is way past springfield about an hour. There is a lake here but it’s called table rock lake and then there is others too. Just wanted to clarify for those not familiar with the ozarks!

To own property does not mean you have access to cash. An american houshould of Murdaughs size was probably bleeding money. It's always about money. They had 4000 $ in their joint bank account and she had 58 $ in her account. He is under suspicion of embessling 9 million $. Its obvious that money was drying up.

Lived in Port Royal when his kid killed the girl in the boat. It was pretty known that if you had been near there, you didn’t see ANYTHING, even if you did. Just that case was wild. He showed up and picked up his kid from the scene and took him home instead of the police processing the scene and the kid. That was Paul. He had supposedly killed before. When I first heard the mom and Paul were killed, the thought that went through my head was, ‘someone finally came for retribution (on Paul).’ But, now, all this…? If AM did it, or had something to do with it, there were better more convincing stories to tell. Lots of people had reason to hate that family.

He didn't pick him up at the scene. Paul went to the hospital in an ambulance 🚑. Paul called Randolph Murdaugh III (His Grandpa). Alex showed up with him (Grandpa)to the hospital to fix Paul's mess he had made. He did take him home from the hospital though.
