Such strength, such tenderness. Thank you so much for the inspiration and thoughtful guidance!

Hi - can anyone describe to me the hand positioning for the archers? I feel I am putting some odd pressure on my wrists.I do the wrist warm ups and never go into this 'cold'. (i watch that as my brother and parents have arthritis). I can see both of you lovely folk do slightly different hand positions. Maybe there is a video going through what your body 'should' be feeling - what is engaged etc? I am taking it slow and going on my knees.

I finished this one yesterday with Embark before and the 50min long yin after! I modified all the push-ups so that I was standing and leaning forward against my bed, as I feel it keeps my core more engaged than on my knees, while leaving it easy enough on my shoulders that I can get the whole way through. I have never been strong with push-ups, but I have been sick for a long time and am especially weak right now. I'm starting on my way to recovery, so let's gooooo

This can still be yoga as it shows you the voice in your head in a very brutal way. Once you get to the point where you want to give up, where you wonder how many more reps, when you wonder when the video is over... That is when it becomes yoga. Come back to the present moment, breathe. The external has nothing to do with yoga, it is all internal in whatever you're doing.

Even if I do 10 at an only slightly slower than normal pace, and in turn get a slightly longer rest, I'm getting roughed up by the time we hit the archers. Being a climber, I do a similar workout after each climb session to balance out all the pulling I'm doing. Some of these variations, and the slowed pace, will spice that up. Normally we would do 10 quick, then a stretch/yoga pose for the other 45 seconds. I like the idea of making the whole 10 minutes about the push-ups, then having a separate yoga practice. Thank you, I really enjoy all of your practices.

Me being a meathead on the first set: Wow this is a slow pace, I'll just pump out as many pushups as I can, I guess this is a light beginner workout. Me on the 4th set: I have made a terrible mistake

Lol, I even tried to moderate. First Set: I'll match it to my breath and breathe slowly. 4th set: Let me match it to every fifth gasp, I think that's the pace.
