The Muscle-Up is the calisthenics skill, that every body weight fitness enthusiast or athlete wants to get. In this video I’m sharing some of my training routines and tips to help you get both the bar and ring muscle up.
I do try to reply to every comment, so please let me know how you get on and if you find this video useful. I have tried to keep it simple.

Like always, a very helpful video! A little tip for everyone trying to find the right hand Position with the falsegrip on the Rings: Place your hand in the ring and grip the top side, your palm facing the sky. Then you hold your arm still and just rotate your wrist, until you are in the bottom position. Now your wristbone should be in the right position, like the one shown in the video by antony at 3:41 ! :)

@@funwithcalisthenics yeah if John Noakes had been learning muscle ups on Blue Peter instead of climbing Nelsons column we might have been influenced in that direction a lot earlier. 🙂

Great video on rings and bands on handstand,,what about tutorial on the bar lever..Do you ever get sore shoulders/rotate cuff etc ,I out of action with the above problem 67yr old and doing unassisted mussle up,cheers Mark NZ

TRX Straps are a great way to do handstand pushups. you can change the angle on it as you progress.

Do you get any pain on your wrist where it rests on the ring? I cant even do Australian rows with an overhand grip due to the pain
