I legitimately cry whenever I hear Wally’s theme, because he gains confidence and this song represents that. Plus he uses a Gallade and that’s my main mon

I grinded the f out of super training to get my own Dawn Stone, so I went most of the game with a Gallade and a Gardevoir on my team. When Wally's Gallade came out, I was down to just my own Gallade. His Gallade would always be faster... Quick Claw activation+Swords Dance boosted Psycho Cut crit.

I think Game Freak started to feel they don’t want to lose Wally’s theme that bad and left it alone and being forgotten, so, you know already, THEY MADE PENNY’S THEME in Gen 9. Even though they aren’t having the same characterisation.

Bianca and Cheren sounding playful works since they are the only rivals aside from Barry who are genuine childhood friends of the player character. Barry's is also playful in that way, there's no edge to the theme since you all already know each other well. However, others do just sound better/are more fun to listen to lol

As much as I enjoy the Rival Themes throughout the series (OR/AS Wally in particular), N’s theme is on another level for me. Particularly when it comes to The Decisive Battle for Unova. It’s literally a battle of destiny, with the highest stakes. I would LOVE to know if someone has done an orchestral version of this theme, possibly with a choir. EDIT: Speaking of the best music from Gen. 5 (in my opinion), have you reacted to one or both versions of Ghetsis’ theme? I personally prefer the B/W one over B2/W2, but they’re both the epitome of sinister.

Green is going into B. Just solid middle of the road good. Silver is above green in B. Yuki/Haruka is below silver, Mitsuru is S, Jun is C, Cheren/bel above Y/H, N is right behind silver, Hyu is A below hau, XY is above cheren/bel, Hau is above Hyu, Glazio is the best rival theme in the series. S tier for also coincidentally the best rival in the series, although not so much a rival, just a friend who is on a mission for the sake of his family. Hop is below Hyu in A tier, Mary is S tier behind Mitsuru, beet is right below XY.

Only really one major disagreement. There’s no way on this fuckin planet that Hau’s Is a C tier theme. Not only is it perfect for his character, it’s just such a bop man. A theme that just makes me smile when I hear it. And, it sets up his champion theme later on too which is one of the best champion themes. Other than that, fair rankings 👍

But quite true even though I’m also vote for disagree with you, because N’s theme *was* supposed to be sound not so important, especially at your first ever surprise battle between you and N in Accumula Town. Because you don’t even know him, and him saying random things like your Pokémon saying things and stuffs. And just get going away from you every time, then meet you at a random place again to battle you and follow you everywhere you go, like a bit annoying. BUT, but, you will find it more and more interesting when you starting to hear N’s stories along your way to the champion league with him following you (or he’s ahead of you already😅), especially in Ninbasa City fun fair is the moment you know N is the king of Team Plasma. And *THAT’S* the moment you find his battle theme interestingly making more sense and intense. Basically I’m typing this a lot above to you is to try to convince you that N is NOT a bad character. N is mysterious. N is cool.
