I love the abrupt ending. She's still singing but fading out. He's singing but screaming that fades out. Her at peace with an end she couldn't change. Him in anguish over a future they could have made. Then....... Nothing. It's such a beautiful way to end that song.

Wait people are getting mad because he pauses the music? If you wanna listen to music, then go and listen to music. He reacts to it, and I love his comments! It's better than half of the "reaction" videos when they watch it and say "that was great" and move their head like they're insane for 3 to 4 minutes... You are doing a great job. "Why did I never get into Evanescence".... I don't know, but you've been sleeping on them. There are are so many good songs to check out if you're interested. I'd recommend songs like My Immortal, Hello, Lithium, and Good Enough if you want softer, more piano-based songs and songs like My Tourniquet, Everybody's Fool, or Call Me When You're Sober if you wanna go beyond that. Or newer stuff like Use My Voice. Amy Lee also has an awesome duet with Lzzy Hale called Break In, and an amazing duet with her ex, Shaun Morgan (from Seether) called Broken... which was actually originally just a Seether song.

David, you remind me a lot of my favorite professor I had in college. He taught English, and was one of the only people to ever reach out to me and tell me how well I could write (I was even offered a job in our Writing Center by him). It meant a lot to me, and actually inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and start writing lyrics for my songs, as opposed to just the instruments. The thing you have in common with him, from what I've seen of your videos, is your level of understanding and comprehension for the thing you love the most, and your ability to instantly throw yourself into it. It's a totally different kind of analysis from what I see on a lot of other channels. I don't mean this to be a dig at anyone else, because I do enjoy a lot of other reaction channels, but the way you listen to a song and are so capable of diving in and feeling the emotion in them is inspiring. It's more than just grabbing a clever lyric, or an impressive high note, you dive into the nuance of every song and I applaud that. This is a true musician's reaction, and from one musician to another I deeply appreciate these. Keep making the awesome videos, and absolutely do a cover of this song!

The main reason I love evanescence is because you can feel so much emotion in her voice! She is amazing!

For you to be able to play so much of the song just from one listen is pretty amazing. I liked your lecture on annunciating the consonants. I get that lecture from our choral director all the time.

First time watching one of Music Shed's videos. Love the attitude and REAL personality. There're a lot of great KZbinrs, but not all of them are raw.

I feel like the artists' understanding on music theory and composition is getting way better these last few years. Check out MGK's newer stuff and even he is starting to incorporate more theory and better substance to the entire process. Thank you for sharing your view on this track. An instant favorite of mine.

People can be mad with you and your style but for me if not my favorite the one of my favorite reactors on youtube. You always make me feel the music through my body. Analizing music like i never had before. And its not analyzing structure exactly but analyzing passion, and the extreme thought and care that we are recieving through this music. Thanks Music Shed! Keep it, you are amazing!

The reaction you had to this really reminded me of the first time I listened to this song. It absolutely blew me away, and I am so happy whenever I see another person become absolutely captivated by just how masterfully this song was crafted. I feel so blessed to have listened to it.
