X2 balljoints posses incredible strength. These really are a must have component when lowering your Mustang. Caster camber plates(MM), X2 balljoints (STEEDA), bumpsteer kit (MM), and Fox Body shocks/struts (Koni) are what makes for a perfect, modern feeling, road gripping experience for your SN95. The ride quality, handling, control, and cornering are amazing. Makes for a much safer ride and feels awesome.

Man, that brake caliper is just like hanging here around the 3:50 mark, lol. Thanks for the video though, great work!!

I like how he said they are going to work on this 01 gt and is black and very clean. Unless the lighting is super bright that black clean stang got dirty quickly and is silver. This car you say?

these ball joints are bad ass! when I wrecked my car, I actually bent the ball joint shaft and it didn't break...

Grease the threads on the ball joint compressor it helps to turn it easer

2:31 tool setup is for install. Included in video at phase where voice over discusses removal.

Just lift up on the steering knuckle off the ball joint shaft... yeah right lol. How about beat the crap out of it and it might come out

My GT is lowered 1 1/2" but I want the front a little lower. I know you said that the spacers are optional but will I be passing up on any improvements by leaving them out?

Doesn't the 2000 Mustang ball joint get pushed from the top down and out?

So without the spacers would the car only be lowered in the front or all around??

Is just replaced the new ball joint but I feel like something isn’t right , the new ball joint did not get in place , I used the press , but still loose

Luis - Is the ball joint loose where it presses into the control arm? Or, are you referring to the ball being loose within the socket? -Landan

When I try to put the nut on to attach the spindle to the ball joint it just keeps spinning, what can I do?

It's been awhile since I've seen an X2 ball joint. Is there an area at the tip of the stud where you can install a tool? If so, you can hold the stud with the appropriate tool and fully tighten the retaining nut. -Landan

My passenger side keeps making a popping/clunking noise going over small bumps. Is this something I should be worried about? My old ones started to make that type of noise and that was the reason I replaced them.

The part where u put the ball joint but keeps spinning I assume that it’s not suppose to do that why won’t it tighten all the way I’m even using a impact gun

Kyle Gibson just hammer it a few times and then slowly turn the ball joint press. It’s hard to mess up.

Huge difference after installing them. Although mine didn't come pre greased. I found this out after driving around a little bit and heard a horrible noise from the front.

pete mouse I got ya. I just did mine and had a loud popping noise up front. Didn't add grease before going to the shop. Added some grease and still had the noise. Sounded like metal on metal. But I think it's going away now.

Wow, you make this way too complicated. 1: remove the wheel. 2: remove the caliper and pads 3: get a socket that gets skinny at the top. 4: undo the ball joint nut 5: bungee strut and rotor assembly off to the side. 6: press joint out 7: press joint in 8: lower control arm down enough to get stud back into the rotor assembly 9: add nut and cotter pin to nut 10: put pads and caliper back on 11: put the wheel back on 12: grab a drink and relax.

Chinesefoodrocks1521 Nothing is complicated at all. Your method obviously leaves out the included spring spacers, which is 100% optional. If we would have left them out, our steps would have been very similar to yours. -Landan
