My grandson is 2 on the 12th of JANUARY and he only says gaga.😔😔I watch him 3 days a week or more. He has a 5 year old sister. HIS eating habits are just yogurt and squeezies and some baby snacks. He can't get tested for autism for 6/9 months.

My son is almost 15. Its been a long run with autism. Tried biomedical, and you name it. Most public schools dont feel its necessary for ABA. They feel it frustrates them. More than likely they are doing it wrong. I learned its so much easier believing by his stripes you were healed. Through alot of things I've done including believing hes stepping more out of his shell and babbles way more. Hes catching on more and developing better but still not speaking right now. Now he's more frustrated because he wants to talk. I believe it will happen

We did signing time with Alex and Leah and taught signing…now in HS child has had 4 years of ASL and is great!! Speaks now after age 8. Our biggest take away was NOT TO PAY ANY attention to the child’s speaking…or making sounds. The child literally said I wish ppl wouldn’t have brought attention to me.

Yes I completely agree with this method and thank you for sharing. My 2 year old has autism and is pre verbal. He has said many words doing echolalia however I have noticed the only productive words he regularly says are to do with his interests or needs, he says 'up' 'milk' 'car' 'apple' 'mama' 'yum'. I hope by following your method I can teach him more productive words as he gets extremely frustrated in not being able to express his needs

Thank you for this vedio. My DD is 6 months and 10 days, she rarely babbles, has very poor eye contact, and since she was 3 months old she stopped give back and forth sounds. I know it’s still too early to think she has autism but considering the family history I think I should take intervention as early as I can. So do you have courses for children under 1? Could you give suggestions about autism intervention with babies in her age?
@marybarbera3 жыл бұрын
Most people tend to start my courses around 1 but my new book is the best guide to how to start as early as possible. Check out turnautismaround.com to find where to buy it. Also, when she does babble, babble back to her and engage in lots of interactive play. Also you can always contact your local early intervention.

@@raselrahman6468 it works for a lot of people. I did it for years and people would come to my home as well. but It stopped around 5yrs and they transitioned to public school. I have seen great moments during THERAPY but after the early stages the therapy options lessen depending on the state.However, the earlier you start the better so I say get all the therapy u can.there is so much support for early childhood. After that, the school's offer special education and therapy. It works wonders for some parents

My son is 3 and his vocabulary and language have declined since I put him in a special ed school that aids with children with autism. Now the only thing he says to express everything is "I'm hungry" he went from saying 40+words even 10 sentences to nothing. He also covers his ears a lot when he becomes over stimulated are to loud noises. He also does a humming sound a lot. I'm very concerned. Are this point I don't know what direction to turn.

I would get her hearing tested if she is not babbling at all, like you said. A complete audiological evaluation. There are many therapists who can come to your home or preschool- Developmental Play Therapists providing Specialized Instruction in Early Intervention, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists.
