No, it’s because Chicken (all meat) reduces in volume and mass as it cooks. 300g of raw chicken has less calories and nutrients than 300g cooked

I did a diet similar 1200 calories for 3 months lost all the weight 80 pounds and then slowly went up in calories about 50 calories a week until I got to my maintenance calorie intake this took me a little while. It’s been 5 years later I’m fitter than ever. I don’t recommend it though, I’m just impatient af, I just wanted the weight off. But I’m glad I did it catapulted me into the health and fitness lifestyle

I'd recommend it. Did 500kcal for a month lost over 30lbs when before I couldn't drop a pound to save my life. It gave me a great foundation to keep the weight off, I don't crave the same junk foods anymore and my stomach shrank so I eat way less now and I feel better than ever.

I didnt realize how TRULY little protein I consumed until videos like this. Half of it was fat, additives and breading. I was (and still am) so ignorant but since making the switch the true protein sources, I've seen such a difference.

My issue is that I don't have the appetite or gut digestion for it. 300g of chicken in one meal would make me feel bloated and nauseous. I can't eat beef or cheese too often as it spikes my cholesterol.

A lot of people saying lean meat is dry. But it is better in both taste and quality. What I do is I blend half an onion a tomato and some peppers, then add that to the meat so that it absorbs the flavors. Tastes amazing and solves the dryness problems without having to compromise and go to a higher fat content.

Just a tip, though it may add about 150 calories - if you make picadillo it may taste better. Use one potato, soften, add like maybe half a cup or quarter cup or either corn or mixed veggies for some variety, and the full pound of ground beef. Season with paprika, light salt, light pepper, maybe hit it with some lemon or Sriracha on top. 10/10.

Yo this is sick. Love it. Tip that may help: if you are trying to get in fats - opt for a fattier ground beef. Though there’s more calories - the fat quality is much higher than that of shredded cheese. Go get it brother.

You could have eaten 2 pounds of chicken breast, 3 bags of broccoli and a tub of fat free cottage cheese. Totally sustainable and you would've probably had to force some of it down. Under 1200 calories.

It’s because weighing your food before it’s cooked and after is different. 100g of cooked chicken breast is not the same volume as 100g of uncooked chicken breast.

It’s all good to lose some weight, but 1200 calories is starving yourself no matter what I lost weight but I couldn’t keep it all off bc I was starving and confused why I was starving. I’m glad you did this short.

@@MunchOnDeezNutz I'm 42, 5' 6 " 210lbs. I'm coming off medication that would make me eat far too much and mess with my ability to lose weight. Problem is that from childhood to age 33, I never ate enough and was skinny unhealthy. Due to coming off that medication, my appetite has dropped off a cliff and I'm now having to get my gut to accept 130g of protein a day. It's rough. I started drinking skimmed milk which my stomach seems happy to accept. 300g of chicken in one meal no chance.

Physical cravings for carbs usually go away in a week or two. Psychological cravings can be triggered for much longer but do diminish over time. If you consume enough fat with your meals your level satiety will be high. The almost pure protein diet in the video is likely to be counterproductive. Protein will not be properly utilized without enough fat.

I am 20 years old and did this diet for around too months and i lost 16lbs. The reason i had to stop was because i was constantly hungry and because of that was feeling sad and the worst part was that i lost my sex drive almost complitely so do this only for max 2 weeks other wise it will affect you mentally too. 😅

I did that diet for 4 months, lost zero pounds. No idea how the fuck that's possible. I was struggling so much my hands and legs would go numb and I'd see stars just sitting down so I know I didn't miscount.

I advise anyone who is this man’s age, the shape he’s in to never eat 1200 calories whether it’s long term or short term. This man is prob in a 1800 cal deficit. Not good for your hormones or anything for that matter. Once you go off this diet and back to a normal healthy eating habit you’ll gain all that weight back. This man is teaching a toxic dietary lifestyle that isn’t good for those with EDs.

Thank you mentioning this is unsustainable. Depending on your weight, that amount of protein can be pretty bad too. It is recommended that an adult should consume 0.8 g of protein per kilogram, or 0.36 g per pound.

I tried something like that, though i avoided raw salads after a couple days as it was really affecting my digestion. Definitely not that much meat but more breast meat, and egg for protein. And egg also as filler for hunger pangs. Did a decent job for low calorie count

I'm on an extreme cut, eat around 800-1100 calorie per day. With only breakfast and lunch. Well, for the past 20 days I lost around 15/16 pounds.

doing this for 2-3 days TOPS is okay when you're trying to compensate and stay within your calorie deficit range for the week's total.

I am now on a 1200/1300 intake for 1 month. 165lbs, male, 30yr. Averaging 170g protein. Every week I do measurements and every week I lose 1.5 KG of pure fat. Now at 16.8% BF. Hope to hit 12-14% BF to start the bulk

@@roninlyons7533 yes indeed. Super happy with the results. I hit 14.0%. Now i am bulking on 2800 Kcal. If i would immediately bulk from the start I would still be fat and not happy with my body composition and not happy with the process, even though i would have gained muscle. Now i can enjoy process and start building some gainzzz

@@roninlyons7533 but I did not see quick progress when I did around 1800-2000 calories. So I decided to cut more, so I could quicker hit the 14% goal because only then i wanted to bulk up. You don't think that makes sense? :)

Im on a 500 calorie a day diet for 4 months now. And 1200 calories for a whole day is a fucking buffet!!! I cant believe you would label 1200 calories as unsustainable. The amount of foods in 1200 calories, insane.

Use the calculator because for a man your calories deficit is way high 1200 is extreme weight lost and for women under 5”3 . My calorie deficit is 1200 for extreme and up 2000 calories a day to loose 1-2 lbs a week with workout 3 X a week. You don’t have to go super low if you are working out and you eat more. Veggies and whole grains high protein . It’s if you’re eating processed food junk food then you’re going have to starve but veggies are so low in calories fill up the plate ❤❤❤
